Strangely the file was in "My_Mods(unloaded) and was mormon_new\mormon_Civ4_buildinginfos.xml.

expected end of tag ..... line 1296.

Thank you Toffer. Was coming on line to do this myself. Glad you are on top of these things. :goodjob:

Okay, I've reset my version of C2C MP Cnsrv Mod back to SVN version 9445. Cause every time I make a change/start a new Pbem it changes many files. So back to square 1. This means that New_Cultures is back in the My_Mods folder under Modules.

Because I've run out of ideas, I will start 1 more Pbem game. BUT I need someone besides Harrier to take the 2nd turn. So I need a volunteer for the 2nd turn so I can set the play order and turn list accordingly. Spirictum perhaps? Magnus?

JosEPh

Okay I will set up the Pbem and get a save up for you to play.

EDIT: Save is in the Cnsrv MP Game saves folder.

Ready when you are Spirictum.

Here's keeping my fingers crossed!

I wait.....I hope...........

Okay........... and you set this up just like the Progressive game too?

I think my system is jinxed. Not meant to host a Pbem. Maybe another reason to say win 10 is :yuck:, even the 64 Pro version. Gah!

JosEPh

Yes I did set up the same way.

Tried with a clean download now and the assets issues pops up again

Well I guess I give up.

That mormon xml error... Were you doing anything to address that when you took these steps? It COULD be our problem due to differing ways various platforms are handling it perhaps.

No.
Perhaps.

Maybe someone else should start this Pbem instead of me? I'm 0 for 1000....0.000% effective.

I think I'm seeing what might be going wrong. I just made another PBEM for this, using the Cnsrv mod with straight r9445, and the default UserSettings folder (IE, empty but the one folder). Altered the BUG settings during the 1st turn of the PBEM game. Game saved as it does when turn ends, and closed Civ4. Checked UserSettings folder and it was still completely empty, except for that default folder.

Launched using the created save game file (see below). Game loads fine. Check the BUG options in-game, and they are almost entirely wrong, but greyed out. Close the game without saving. Check UserSettings folder and it has lots of files in it.

Thus what seems to be happening is that, like I just did not do, JosEPh did not set the BUG options in a single player game prior to making the PBEM game, and the BUG settings did not save properly in game. Then, when the next player goes to load the game, their computer creates what it considers default BUG settings, which means that the files in the mod folder are now different, and thus the mod does not load. Except that it loaded for me. Save attached if anyone wants to see if it will load, and if it does, check to see if the BUG settings are correct for what this game is supposed to be. Specifically, No Storms and Multiple Religion spread should be on, and Sea Tunnels should be off. There are lots more, but those I recall offhand.

Thunderbrd, did you set the BUG options in-game for the 1st turn of the Prgsv MP, or did you do a SP first? If the former, they are probably wrong for subsequent players.

Yep, I forgot to start a SP game with the C2C MP Cnsrv Mod on the last attempt with Spirictum.

The real question is whether Thunderbrd did so or not. If he did, then we (probably) know why your game did not work. If not, then no idea.

Guessing it won't, but does the save I posted load for you? If it does, are the BUG settings correct?

I check it to see.

EDIT: It started to load got to the C2C splash screen then a pop up about game is password protected and then disappeared before I could read it all. Went thrumore of the loading process than what I've seen before.

You could be on to something. I didn't have to adjust the bug settings in the first round because they were already my default (though come to think of it that may mean we're set to not having terrain damage on.)
