This IS a Conservative C2C MP game Thunderbrd! :p

1. C2Cv37 is the folder I downloaded the PBEM SVN too. That is my main folder.

2. Cleanuo - I forgot to select the option "Revert all changes recursively".

Now back to your original (all green folders).

Good!

Now if Spirictum would pop in for a few minutes.... then Magnus would be able to take his turn later this evening.

The Folder New_Cultures Must be in the My_Mods(unloaded) folder 1st. Do Not add the saved USF folder found in the C2C MP Cnsrv Game saves folder for this set up, leave yours to just the CDA (Default CustomDomADv folder in the USF as originally set up).

Also Mod's name is C2C MP Cnsrv (one set of failed tests was because I had the r and v switched :p )

And that is it.

The main problem for it not working before was that I did not start a SP game with the USF settings needed for this Pbem game. If just the USF folder with only the CDA folder inside it was used And I tried to set the BUG settings on 1st turn they would not stick. The game would switch the USF settings around. Hence the Game protected assets pop up.

Did you try to do the SVN Commit from inside the Cnsrv MP Game saves Folder? Also all subsequent Commits should be from that folder too. You should have placed your savegame copied from the Pbem save folder the game makes, inside Cnsrv MP Game saves Folder. Then do your initial Add/delete and then commit while there.

JosEPh

So are you saying I do the commit from a sub folder (Cnsrv MP Game saves) and not the main SVN folder (in my case C2Cv37). I tried to do the commit from the main folder not a sub folder.

Yes, you can do a commit from the sub folder. Or outside the sub folder or from the main folder. As long as the folder(s) has/have changed from the green check mark to a red ! mark.

I always do the commit from within the specific folder with the changed files, as that seems to work best. I have done it from one folder up when I was ready to commit both the Massive and US MP games at the same time, but that would sometimes have an error.

As a note, the SVN with the save game files is not the same SVN as the main mod. They are different, and you should have them in entirely different base folders. If you have them in the same folder, that may be what is confusing the SVN and not allowing you to commit.

As to setting up the game folder:
_ Name a folder as: C2C MP Cnsrv.
_ Then paste in r9445.
_ Go to .../Assets/Modules/My_Mods and cut/paste (or just move) the New Cultures folder from .../My_Mods to .../My_Mods(unloaded).
_ I would advise to replace the default UserSettings folder with the one from the SVN with the turnlist for this game. JosEPh says to not do so, but my experiment with that showed that loading the turn with the default folder resulted in my game showing incorrect BUG settings. [see post 263 of this thread]
At that point, you should be good to go.

@Spirictum,

It is your turn now.
Harrier had some trouble committing his turn so I had him upload it here: https://forums.civfanatics.com/thre...tive-c2c-mp-game.610062/page-14#post-14666694 .

EDIT: I also committed his turn to the SVN so Spirictum you can go either route to play your turn. I also truncated the save to Conservative_Game.CivBeyondSwordsave. Just like we did in Massive and how we do in Another MP and the Progressive game (now).

I thought mornings were your best time? Of course now it's noon in Brazil.

Let's go! :)

Sorry Joseph, suddenly I decided to spend the whole day yesterday playing games that I won't be able to play these following days of Carnival. And I was without my computer so I couldn't play here. I'm doing both my turns now.

EDIT: It asked me to recalc, I presume I should click no like in the Pgrsv game right?

Just anxious to get this rolling is all. How long is this Carnival time you speak of? Not very well versed in Brazilian Culture and ways.

JosEPh :)

Carnival starts today and officially ends on wednesday, but the events only stop on the next monday. Snowfall will spend carnival with me here where I live, so I won't be able to play some games I can only play when I go play on a friend's place, that's why.

Personally I don't like much the festivities of Carnival here in Rio de Janeiro, I think they are much more an excuse to get drunk and/or high and party all day (or until your body can't handle it anymore) then a cultural event. In the state of Bahia we can see many stuff that are obviously part of the cultural heritage of the place. But here in Rio, people use some hats with the brand of the beer they like to drink, and they usually wear the least clothes possile or any type of random costume.

The nice part is that people are a lot friendlier in this moment, so it's a great time to visit our country.

I did my turn and I clicked on no to recalc. If I must redo something just tell me, but for now Turn is done, Magnus is up

Carnival sounds like New Orleans' Mardi Gras. With the same excuses as you described taking place in Rio. Never been to Mardi Gras and really have no desire too either. Not my way to live.

So Re-Calc pop up was there for you. Hmmm........ Well Magnus will let us know if anything is amiss. I doubt that it is since it played for you. :)

@T-brd,
Magnus reply is more succinct than mine. ;) And more accurate as well. :p

Your Turn Mr. Sickie Snuffleupagus.

Re- UserSettings is that what we now need to do?

Isn't that what you did on your set up for this game for the 1st turn? I 1st said not to, but then Magnus did some tests and said he did and it held and worked. So it was decided that all should use the USF from the save game folder. But this was probably after you had taken your turn. So I guess on your next turn we shall see.

No. Hence my post.

I did as you originally said. I thought Magnus's comment was just that and as no agreement was posted before I made my turn I ignored it.

As for what the settings should be - I saw your initial screen shots - but somethings were changed after that. So I am not sure what they should be. i.e. Terrain damage on or not etc. I know I can check the selections from the button that shows victory selections etc. so no problem there. But it does not help me know if I have the right USF.

Anyway I will just copy the USF from the SVN folder, before I start my next turn.
