I just saw this movie and loved it. I have to watch it again later. Who here has seen the false documentary Spinal Tap? Its parody of 80s rock and roll is hilarious, extra-hilarious to me because I hate 80s rock! :p

If you have seen it, what was your favorite part? I enjoyed the credits.

"What would you do if you weren't a rock star?"
"I'd probably, like, sell something. You know, like 'What shoe size do you wear, sir?'"
"Um, 7 1/2."
"Like that. 'Oh, I'm sorry, we're all out of that sir. Do you wear it in black?'"
"Interesting. But would you enjoy doing that?"
"I don't know, what are the hours?"

Or the conversation about the amp that goes up to 11.

I haven't seen it, but after this I'll try to wach it

What a great movie. Every time I see it I catch something hilarious I hadn't noticed before.
Ozzie Osbourne once said:
"I went to see Spinal Tap, and I didn't think it was funny. I thought it was a ***** documentary, I did. When they got lost on their way to the stage -- that happened to me a thousand times! Some ****** didn't change the signs around and you'd end up in the car park with your guitar and your ***** platforms on in the rain."
Oz, buddy - you WERE Spinal Tap!

What's that on your finger?
That's my gum!
What are you doing with it on your finger?
I might need it later.
Put it on the table, that's terrible.
Well...I might forget it on the table.

Great film, never got the kudos it deserved.

I think CurtSibling was one of the drummers... ;)

Spinal tap is excellent. I can't wait to see the Mighty Wind. And then Tenacious D should be coming out with a movie eventually. Title will be 'Greatest Movie on Earth"

A mark of a truly great flick, which this is.

This is one of those movies that, if you've never seen it, go rent it now.

BTW, I can easily see Oz roaming around back stage trying to find out where the gig is.

I envy you, cgannon64. I'd love to be able to watch Spinal Tap again for the first time.
BTW, I even own a copy of their second CD - "Break Like The Wind".

one of the tap guys does voices in the simpsons now, i think .

The best "rockumentory" of all time bar none! What were Spinal Tap noted for?- their exuberance, their raw power --
and their punctuality.

Check out this site- Spinal Tap A-Z

You mean, they really made those things? I can't imagine listening to Sex Farm. ;)

"Its a much more mature song we've done. Its about sex..."
"On a farm?"
"Yes, on a farm."

The funniest film ever made - everyone should watch this. Repeatedly. I've even seen Spinal Tap live at a 'secret' gig in London - they started off by auditioning for a new drummer!

I'm going to work with a woman, especially one who dresses like an Australian's nightmare.
Derek Smalls on bass. He wrote this.

Derek Smalls is the voice of Mr Burns
