I chose Metallica, Slayer is ok, but you forgot some serious thrash like Prong, Pantera and Ministry.

Of the three options listed I prefer Slayer, although I think Dave Lombardo's done rather better and more interesting things since. The other two just bore the hell out of me.

and i dunno if I'd call metallica thrash, but they'd be my favourite there. St Anger was awful though.
