Got it and looked :scan: at the save and I am a bit unsure what I should do :help:. Now, I know the primary task at this point is to fill the continent with cities. But do we want to try to conquer another Continent or two? I ask this so that I can continue with a military build up for attacking someone else (like Gandhi). Or should I just concentrate on building settlers and fill our Continent with only minimal defenses :undecide:. Anyways I took a shot of the power graph for everyone to look at. IMHO I think we should go for the continent which Gandhi is on because I think he will rid the world of Stalin shortly and thus give us another continent we can fully control. Unless Japan decides to land there as well.

civ4screenshot0002yx8.jpg

I checked with what deals we could make to get techs we do not have. I think that Huayna Capac's deal is better (only because of the higher amount of gold).

civ4screenshot0000gx0.jpg

Due the time I will not be able to play this until tomorrow.

Nobody else knows Astronomy, yet. Which is good if we want to war. If we choose peacefull victory we should build up our land. I think it's not possible to get diplo victory without further war. I would go for space, since we are the tech leader and the AI is pretty busy with war (except Toku who has nearly 2x population compared to us).
I would however build some frigates to pillage our enemies
After that I would build infrastructure (courthouses, markets, banks, univs)
New cities will hit the economy, I would wait a little since no one can settle on our continent.

I looked at the group list and a domination or conquest victory is possible.
A conquest victory is only an option when Carthage is gone or Hannibal
allies not with us. Permanent alliances are on.
Something else, random personalities are also on, Huanya Capac favors
Mercantilism, means he's the old Tokugawa or Roosevelt. The original
personalities of Tokugawa, Alexander and Napoleon will never join a
permanent alliance. But it looks like the Incan leader has the personality
of Roosevelt.

Whatever the team decides it's fine with me as long as we win the game.

Team, I have was blinded sided yesterday :(, so I as unable to play. Due to the nature of the beast I am unsure about being able to play tonight. I will definitely be able to get at it tomorrow, but if this is to much of a delay please do not hesitate to skip/swap me. I will post in <10 hours if I am able to play.

Ok I have started playing but I still have not finished 10 turns. I will continue as soon as I can and post the report hopefully tomorrow afternoon.

Ok I have played 15 turns and here is the results.

Part I

I first renegotiated this deal. Before.

civ4screenshot0000pf8.jpg

After.

civ4screenshot0001as2.jpg

Printing Press came in, and I chose Replaceable Parts.

civ4screenshot0002jw7.jpg

Then Hannibal came with this.

civ4screenshot0003qa8.jpg

:p I declined.

Then popped this message.

civ4screenshot0004lk6.jpg

I did some shopping around and then made this deal to get Theology.

civ4screenshot0005ys0.jpg

Then Brennus came calling and asked for this.

civ4screenshot0007yv6.jpg

I thought about it for moment and decided that Tokugawa is giving us the most gold per turn so I would have preferred to have told Brennus to stuff it, but instead told him “Sorry…" :p

Someone created a great work to document all the important civs. ;)

civ4screenshot0008mp3.jpg

We lost a trireme; oops I missed it for upgrading to Frigate. :smoke:

civ4screenshot0009ub7.jpg

To be able to deal with the loss and to prevent some pillaging I set both Timbuktu and Paris to build Frigates and whipped :whipped: the one at Paris. Unfortunately I had just finished whipping :whipped: Paris to finish the Courthouse. While this was happening I was sending our troops over to Alemanni for capturing the city.

Part II

civ4screenshot0010bx8.jpg

Replaceable Parts came in, and I went for Steam Power.

civ4screenshot0011xv9.jpg

I renegotiated the deal with Tokugawa.

civ4screenshot0012th1.jpg

Then Hannibal asked for this.

civ4screenshot0013ym2.jpg

Again the option of saying NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Way in @#%$ is not available, so I settled for “Sorry…” :nono:

I Checked Tokugawa to see what he wanted for Divine Right.

civ4screenshot0014ny7.jpg

I did not like the deal.

At the end of my turn set I have settled two more cities.

civ4screenshot0015qs0.jpg

The Continent as it stands now.

civ4screenshot0016ne8.jpg

Troop deployment:

civ4screenshot0017mt0.jpg

The next player can take Alemanni:

civ4screenshot0018er3.jpg

This Frigate may need to be moved, at the moment it is healing.

Domestic Advisor:

civ4screenshot0020lh0.jpg

Financial Advisor:

civ4screenshot0021qq1.jpg

I forgot to mentioned the Great Merchant which got us some gold (~3600 I think)

Victory Conditions:

civ4screenshot0022bx7.jpg

I think no matter what we chose for Victory we should thump Gandhi after we get some infrastructure completed. Tokugawa may be too far ahead in population to catch without getting some more cities.

Nicely done.

I don't think we need cities in other continent, but that's just me. We could have easily tech all the way to space.

We need to get the FP up somewhere. If we choose to take cities in the other continent, then natural it should go there. But with our capital at one end of our continent, a FP in our continent is useful as well. The other alternative is to shift our palace to somewhere in the middle.

PS> I really wished you'd cropped your pics a little ... I for one hate to scroll horizontally to read the text.
