The Great Dictator
These latest conversions are very, very nice!

It's just the infinitum conversions that I will no longer be doing... I may go out and pick up some of those games or buy them off ebay if I can get them cheap there. The problem with some of the Infinitum units is no shadows, and that their offsets for each direction for each unit are all not centered, so it is a serious pain to correct.
I will keep doing conversions though. There are alot of Kohan units, so they will continue to roll in.

converted LHs sound pretty awesome
oh and Deliverator made some Kohan conversions for Civ

im not really sure if those are easier to convert
Carrion Crawler (unit conversion)
The carrion crawler is a scavenger of subterranean areas, feeding primarily upon carrion. When such food becomes scarce, however, it will attack and kill living creatures.
The crawler looks like a cross between a giant green cutworm and a cephalopod. Like so many other hybrid monsters, the carrion crawler may well be the result of genetic experimentation by a mad, evil wizard.
Carrion crawlers are much-feared denizens of the underground world. They live in lairs, venturing out in search of carrion or food every few days. Some underground inhabitants such as goblins and trolls will make use of carrion crawlers by leaving the bodies of dead foes out in designated areas. This keeps the creatures at a good distance from their own homes and encourages them to "patrol" certain areas. Some orcs have been known to chain live prisoners near the lairs of these fearsome monsters.
No Civ Colours.

If not LHs they could be used as advisors - who are static with a variety of expressions. So single frame graphics would work. What file format are the portraits in?Seems there are alot of animated Portraits (ahem, leaderheads), I will have to check those out and see if they can be used or not for leaderheads. Many are creatures I think, so they would be just single era I suppose. All may have to be single era...
I will spell out the whole name of the game, instead of abbreviating it. I didn't even think about it. Many probably don't know what AoW:SM stands for![]()
It's actually a very good game, but the AI has some flaws. With a better AI it would top all other turn based strategy games in my opinion. If you want to try it, get a cheap German version of the game, otherwise you'll be paying 10 times as much, while a German copy will still install in English, so you won't miss anything.I didn't until I googled it.

A lot of the units you've shown will be useful as rakshasas in the India scenario I'm making glacial progress with.
Here's a sample portrait, they are animated, but might not be enough of the unit (since it stops at shoulders for most) to fill a Civ 3 style leaderhead. The ones I have looked at are all similar to how this is setup.

Perhaps you could use a background with a dark bottom:

To make the lack of shoulders "disappear":

This presumably could then be cropped or resized to Civ Leaderhead dimensions.
Just a thought. Are there any Space Princesses, White Apes, or Evil Genius types in there?
