My observations for what they're worth:
Something definitely feels different but I can't put my finger on it yet. Mostly for me it comes down to AI not offering anything for something it does need or could use but if I suggest something, anything at all, they will accept. Seems like the common theme is that if the AI doesn't think it has enough to offer it will offer nothing. (Different subject but it would be fun if the AI could try and low-ball us sometimes.)
Related, I'm not sure 2 GP + 29 GPT (in OP) is a mistake. Generally it feels like, to the AI (assuming they have plenty of both) one GPT is worth about 15 or 20 GP. For me, 29 GP + 2 GPT does not make sense; should be more like 14 GP + 3 GPT by my math. (And this is sensible... do I want 30 GP over 30 turns or do I want 15 or 20 GP 'now'?)
