Traps and Towers module

I have a jpeg of the tech tree, right here. I should add that to my sig...

Saving to hard drive for future reference.

Upon review the Tech Tree, the future batteries should go:

Railgun -> Laser (Tech: Fusion, practical military lasers for defense would require a large, cheap power source) -> Anti-Matter.

Hopefully that plan is fine, (other than using redundant graphics for Missile through Anti-Matter batteries).

So about the murder holes. I know GeneralStaff liked them but thought it should belong with the Castle Mod. So what's happening with it? Are you Afforess going to add it to your castle mod OR are you General Staff going to add it to your Tower & Traps Mod now that "A New Dawn" has been released?

Well, It uses a modifier that doesn't exist, BonusDefenseChanges. It makes it more interesting, definitely, but now I have to see if I can add it to the SDK.

I will leave Murder Holes to the Castle Mod. As for the Concrete Barrier (the only "fence" with enough historical impact to add), I would add it, but I have no graphics city for it.

I bet if you asked in the Graphics forum, someone could reskin the existing walls to look like Concrete...

Actually, knowing the graphics forum, I doubt it, but it's still worth a shot.

It's too bad RoM doesn't have any aspiring graphics artists...

Well as it is now actually, Lasers don't require nearly the amount of power that railguns need and on top of that Boeing(built the plane) and Lockheed Martin(built the laser) have recently released a plane called the airborne laser that uses lasers to shoot things such as airbound missiles for example.

That reminds me, I never did finish that worker modmod.

Nope, it can't; however, prereq's are really easy to add. I can add a bPrereqPower tag.
 
bPrereqPower tag added. It was a piece of cake. Prereq's are easy to add, only 4 files to edit, all in all, only about 20 lines of code.
 
Speaking of which, how was my iSpread tag? Anything that needed reworking?

Your loop counters (iI, iJ) in CvPlot were messed up, but other than that, it was just copy-n-pasting. I did update the list to reflect that it was added.

Reskinning is not the issue, the issue is that the existing walls have crenelations.

lol. First they ignored my wonder requests, fine, then they ignored a request for an AA Gun city improvement (for this mod). I am done with that forum (unless I feel like I need a higher post count by making requests to be ignored).

I miss nitram15, he said he claimed a few wonders and leaderheads which I am waiting on.

IDK, the only other fortifications that are historically worth adding are Barricades (Rifling) and Cement Barrier (Fascism and Manufacturing; Cement and Iron or Steel resource). I can use blank graphics for Barricades (blocking city streets rather than enclosing the city), but I am at a loss with the other fortification.

I like the Barricades idea and of course the Cement Barrier. In addition I really want that Electric fence added.

I can make meshes but I am not sure how to get it into a format that the game can use. Do you guys know?

Here is an example of what I have meshed before from art class.

Note it was fully rigged too. However as you can tell I am not the best texturing artist.
