Travel Through Time

Sure thing, no problem. It's kind of fun actually, going through all of my old research papers.

Actually, I think the Uncu Axemen have it in there war garb somewhere. Maybe take another look at the images I posted. Like the idea, nice thinking.

Lol. As I stated in the previous thread you posted, there may be updates coming as Dac tries to correlate all the data/info we give him. These mods are very much a work in progress, and we try to be as authentic as possible. Please be patient.

Unless you tell him Capo he can't help my friend.

Hey Dacubz did you like the Anasazi civ? Drakar and I are working(as your probably well aware lol) on the Chimu next. What are your thoughts?

??? I wasn't aware that my particular context could be considered rude. My apologies if it came across that way.

Wasn't intending any rudeness. Sorry :(

Where be flag?

Thankyou for making it Dacubz.

I think you were the one who made the Mexico flag I'm now using for the aztecs..good stuff :goodjob:

Lets talk some more Chimu though.

UB: I know they were experts with irrigation, but thats hardly unique to people in the Andeans or Mesoamerica. So I'm thinking some other kind of building would work better as something more "unique".

UU: This could be something that goes all the way back to the Moche.

Plenty of axeman replacements or Maceman, though I don't think any other unitclass could work, unless of coarse we have this unit be a horseman or Chariot replacement. Remember historically the Americas did not have the horse until after the Spanish came. Though there were roads. A quick moving infantry could replace the horseman in Civilization.

Lets not forget that in Age of Empires Eagle Warriors(An Aztec unit) replaces cavalry, so its hardly unprecidented.

Leader:

I'd really like to see a female leader. Saibotlieh's Quilago would get the job done I think. I may apply a new background though(not that the current one is bad).

How about a spear with a curved blade? Maybe hook type blade as well as the pointy end :). Given the terrain (hills/mountains), that could be conceivable.

Additionally, they were master craftsmen and engineers, so a specialized forge isn't out of the question. Or even perhaps a master craftsmen building of some type?

As for female leader, I have absolutely no info concerning one (and would be really interested in the info) for them. I do know the Moche were a matriarchal society (and a positively vicious one at that), but I don't know if that carried over to the Chimu.

A spear-sword type weapon actually is a good idea. I think a forge replacement would work real well in addition.

I'm not sure 100% on the identify of the female leader for Chimu or if it fits them the best, but haven't really read much about possible leaders other than that prince you mentioned.

Unfortunately, I'm back to working overlapping double shifts. Not to mention moving in the next week or so. Sorry for the lack of info on my part, but RL is being a witch at the moment.
