Cheetah,
In the past, Apolyton has always appointed someone to ferry messages to and from
other teams. We've always had ambassadors ... middlemen ... to handle other
teams. I'm changing that. We don't need to have more people and more bueaucracy
between our teams. Right now what we need is to get some genuine cooperation and
open channels between us, ESPECIALLY since we will be invading GWT WHEN WE NEXT
OPEN UP THE SAVE!
If you ever wanted to chat with us, there will be no better time than in these
next few days. We'll send you screenshots and highlights of the action, real
time.
We're open to chat anytime, of course, but thus far haven't seen anyone come by.
Just come to our #isdgfamtalks room whenever you guys would like to have a "face
to face" chat.
And in the future, feel free to email me and if I don't get back to you within 24
hours, email Master Zen and tell him that I'm "lazy and I suck". He'll know what
it means.

Bottom line: We need to do a better job of keeping you guys in
the loop.
I'd like to start with your questions:
>> - The future of our tech and gold trades. What are we aiming for? Shall
>> we continue with us sending you gold and you sending us techs? Shall
>> both research for theirselves and then trade?
The answer to this question is complicated, and I think it should depend on what
CFC really wants to do. I know that my team wants to continue our combined
economy approach -- we use our massive research machine to crank out techs and
gift them to you, you subsidize our efforts. Our team has been very please with
the arrangement thus far, as the extra gold has allowed us to both research and
build up our nation, and we have become the greatest research power in the world.
However, we have yet to truely tap that power, once we go Golden Age (around 20
turns after the attack, I think) we will be getting techs every 4 turns which
will (if we keep up this arrangement) be gifted to you guys.
Personally, I think the arrangment has been great for both of us, but I think we
definately need to hear how you guys feel. And if there's a better arrangement
that can be made, we should start talking about it now.
>> - The attack. As you will be landing in two turns time there isn't to
>> much to discuss here, as what I was interested in knowing was if you
>> could spare some forces for Leo's as well as Ruhrpott. Because the
>> GWT-CGN war ended prematurely, I do not believe CFCs force will be
>> enough to capture Leo's alone.
The CGN war ended too soon for both of us. We ended up scrapping our secondary
assault because we felt GWT would move their fastmovers back to the middle of
their empire for protection and our small raiding force that was going for Parth
would get gobbled up. We put all of our forces into one massive armada for the
Ruhrpott strike as we feel it is our most critical mission ... and if it succeeds
it will send GWT into the dark ages. Due to the importance, we're basicly
putting all of our eggs in one big basket. Hopefully, we made the right move.
All our ships are involved in that mission and they're all loaded to the brim so
we really couldn't send any troops to help you guys

Wish we could. About all
we can do is distract and preoccupy the GWT defenders on the western coast to
hopefully give you guys an edge in your bid to destroy Leos.
Is there anything you'd like to know about your assault next turn that hasn't
been shared with you? Just let me know, I'll tell you whatever I can dig up.
Can you give us some details of your plans too? We really should coordinate and
hopefully you have done so with Trip and others in the past. PLEASE keep the
flow of information open and I'll do the same during these critical turns.
Let us hope that luck is on our side. If these attacks go as planned, we will
have dealt a crushing blow to the seemingly invincible power that is GWT.
Long live our alliance!
