Hey gang, I decided to play because there were too many things that were bugging me. Hopefully, President Annka won't mind. ;)

I tossed out some of the Temples in production and changed them to Libraries. If we are going to realize tech parity with Apolyton and try to gain an edge on GWT/GCA, this is the way to do it.

I removed the Settler due next turn for Shen Ling. As our most productive city, it really needs to stay Size 6 and above.

I left our fleet in the middle of the ocean, as I am STILL unsure of our plans. Someone needs to contact Poly STAT!

Things that need immediate attention

Ju Yaosai is still a Size 4 city when it has plenty of improved tiles to give. We need to join some workers there from Yun Qiuling once it finishes its Marketplace.

We need to make worker farms out of the grassland rich cities around our upcoming FP. This will help us stay ahead of the game as these cities grow, as well as help join established cities.

We need to discuss two things with Apolyton. One is a possible pullback from hostilities in the West. Another is a joint tech research plan.

NOTE: In messing with the science slider, I noticed that we can get Banking in 15 turns while still making 2gpt; 16 turns at 11 gpt. This will go up even more once we build those Libraries and our FP is up and running, but will hopefully give our alliance a chance to put some distance between ourselves and those rogues to the West.

As your Domestic Minister, I will be providing build queue suggestions in the coming days so that we have a detailed plan to balance all the initiatives we have before us. Hopefully this brash act on my part(playing the save) will stir up discussion here and get things going our way again.

And as abassidor to APO and Science minister I will protest our building of libraries. Our deal with APO already gets us in the lead, we do not need to wast money of science.

I am trying too but APO's people are being very annoying right now, I think they are sleepy :p But I will stay up all night if I have to settle this.

EN, please tell me where Apolyton is in research right now. I assume they are researching Chemistry? Or perhaps they are even further? Thing is, Chemistry opens up the tech tree and we will be able to help Poly get the techs quicker and get us into the Industrial Age. If we have CGN research one tech(most likely Banking), we bring them along for the ride as they have access to a free tech since they are Scientific.

Remember, the best thing we have on GWT/GCA right now is our tech lead. Who knows how many units they have swarming over there? I don't think we will be able to beat them on even terms, and I don't think we will be able to capture and hold a city on that continent just yet. This is why a calcuated effort in science is needed, so that one day we can.

Not to worry, though. These queues can be changed if we talk with Poly and get another plan. But we need to do that soon.

Thanks for playing the save Donny. :)

I kept building libraries that Cheetah set because I didn't know what else I should... :undecide:

I agree on what you said. :)

Good playing, Donovan. I agree that we need to make a scientific contribution every now and then. Those libraries also help our culture.
