This Turn Chat will be held:
GMT = Saturday March 13, 02:00 (2 AM)
CST = Friday March 12, 20:00 (8 PM)

The 250 AD save game will be used.

This thread shall only contain Turn Chat Instructions from the relevent officials.

If specific tiles around a city need to be referenced, here is a guide so that we are all speaking the same language:

This is not a discussion thread.

- 2 Horsemen W of Santa Lucia to raid Babylonian areas near AG Souths position (worker raider mostly, no city attack)
- 1 Swordsmen SE of DR to Join AG South, but to hold Samarra when the AG hits Izibia
- 3 Warriors in Mure to Hit Lagash after the walls in Mure are finished.

Defensive:
NONE

Upgrades:
NONE

These warriors are to proceed to the nearest barracks and upgrade to swordsmen. Groton and VM have barracks.

Operations:
The War is going smoothly, and we have an advantage on the "South front" with a strong offensive force that should be used to gain Babylonian luxury cities. Otherwise, we are doing very well.

Any units without instructions may move as they like, though city garrisons should not move unless it is of extreme importance.

The slider is to be set at 0% science, 100% tax if a scientist is assigned, or 10% science, 90% tax if no scientist is assigned by a governor. 10% lux is allowed if absolutely necessary to keep a city from rioting.

Also, 150 gold may be used for unit upgrades. No alliances may be signed that require us to pay gold to another civ.

Trades:

Do the outcome of the Should we trade Republic around - poll ?

If the More alliances - poll by Internal Affairs has the outcome of trading republic for alliances as well, T&T approves.

Techs:

Continue researching our current tech; Feudalism. If for some reason you are able to pick another tech, go for the 2nd place winner of this poll; Engineering. If for some good in-game reason Engineering isn't a good tech to go for; you can choose an alternative.

An alternative is in this discussion - long term research, if you can make something of it.

Peace Treaties:
For Civs we are not at War with:
  • Initiate none this chat.
  • If asked to renegotiate peace by the AI, please do so.
If we are contacted by Babylon for peace terms, only accept if:
  • all our alliances have expired or been broken by others
  • the terms are for equality or better
The Babylonians will now acknowledge our envoy, if our alliances end during this chat (which might happen if they’re broken by others), and Babylon will give us peace terms (whether they meet the equality criteria or not) please stop the chat so that the terms can be discussed in the forums.

Embassies: None this chat

War Declarations: None this chat (one’s enough!), and if war is declared on us by another Civ, please stop the chat so that we can reconsider our alliances.

Tribute Demands: Please reject all tribute demands from Russia unless the demand is trivial (10 gold or less and/or a territory map). From other countries, pay all tribute demands that do not exceed 40 gold or 2 gpt or that include technologies, cities, or contacts. If the demand exceeds 40 gold, 2 gpt, or includes contacts, techs, or cities, reject the demand.

Territory incursions: Do not request or demand that any nation move its troops from our territory during this turn chat. If what appears to be a possible invasion force from someone other than Babylon arrives near a city, please stop the chat and we can determine what to do in the forums.

New contacts: It is not mandatory that the chat be stopped if we make a new contact. I would recommend, however, that the chat be stopped if a new contact provides a good trading possibility.

Military Alliances: As per the results of this poll please do not form any further Military Alliances against Babylon.
