Turn Discussion

Me too! As head spy menial number-crunching drone Strategic Information Officer for our team, I could use a little more time between teams. Only for peaceful purposes, of course. :D

Me also, additional because now I 've a second game for intelligence.

I admire your clairvoyance, our units should explore every turn new tiles.

Gah, Saturn's luck in this game is horrendous. All explorers eaten alive, hordes of pillaging barbs, and thieving rivals.

Well since LordParkin went and spoke about it, basically we lost out on Confuscianism solely because we are #2 in the turn order while Kazakhstan is #1. :gripe:

Eh it's not too bad. I'm not angry about it, it's a bit ridiculous more than anything else. Can't blame Kazakhstan... seems like this style of pitboss uses a pretty poor system.

Hey at least we aren't Team #5. Team Mad Scientists will never win a tie. :p

Owwwwww. That's gotta hurt.

Well the other way to look at it is this:

Even if this was simultaneous turns, then since you were both on the turn of discovering it, the Religion would of gone to who had the most overflow :science:

So It is pretty simple to figure out who realistically should of gotten the religion. See How much overflow each team had the next turn.

If you really wanted to argue the point, a mod could edit the game to give the religion to the "proper" team, but for all we know Kaz had the most overflow.
Edit:
Spoiler :
I in now way support doing this as it will undefinetly bog down the game. We jsut have to accept that some teams get an advantage, on the onset of the first war, some teams will have had an extra turn to build troops. Such is life. A PBEM would of been the same.

Well obviously... but there's a possible 50/50 chance that we had more overflow. (no idea) I mean if we lost to overflow then that's fair and square. Doesn't matter though, overflow had nothing to do with it, it was determined who would win at the very start in the game. Though I have to admit being #2 in the list we aren't in a very bad position overall, for future ties...

I am curious who would have gotten it legitimately through overflow, but even if we had more I don't know if I'd want an admin to take their religion away from that, that seems underhanded and cruel to me.

Edit: Going in and checking, turns out we don't have much overflow at all. Looking at the bar I'd estimate around 4 - 6 beakers. (not sure how to check the exact number) So yeah, odds are we wouldn't have gotten it anyway. But still, if it were any of the other teams (with more overflow), we would have lamely stolen it from them. Just a painful system.

More so because it's just another kick in the teeth after multiple other occurrences of bad luck. It really does start to dull one's interest in the game after a while. :(

:( now you're making us feel all guilty

Don't worry it's nothing a massive stack of axemen and immortals won't be able to fix. ;)

Nah I'm kidding we haven't even met anyone yet. This map must be huge.

(By the way what was your beaker overflow? Just curious.)

Really? From what I know in simul turns it is a random draw the game makes to decide who gets it, same for all wonders, religions, liberialism etc. So if 2 candidates 50-50 chance.
