Turn Discussion

Just because you have nothing to discuss doesn't mean it is the same for other teams.

Isn't it possible to discuss things several turns ahead?

I mean we have discussed plenty of stuff but we got our strategy carefully mapped out several turns into the future so we have plenty of time to discuss/change it without holding the game back for hours. Something unexpected like barbs or events don't really take too long to sort out.

I mean I'm not going to try forcing anyone to go faster but it's not too hard map out moves beforehand as a group.

But deciding on whether to fry or to roast our lion meat is proving really difficult!! you just don't understand :run:

What kind of lions you have in your neck of the woods, Kaleb? Ours aren't much into getting spitted by jokers with clubs. More the other way around.

As for the slowdown on my end, I blame my two year old. He's not old enough to complain.

There is always the lion's share to be considered, if you want to be lionized, even for your two year old cub. :)

You mean they get spiited by clubs with jokers??

We haven't had any problems with lions since we reached gunpowder for muskets a few turns ago. Them lions go down real good. :ar15:

There's something fitting about the first team to claim religion to be eaten to lions...pity we don't have any colluseums to watch this in.

It was Christian not Buddhist in Rome.
That was a desert lion or from plains.
There is our position better, we see after our turn the animal-attack.

Diplomacy takes a lot longer to hash out than figuring out how to set up a spit :p
Oh, so some of you have actually met each other? ;)

Still, I don't get why you'd need to hold up the game to conduct diplomacy at this stage of the game. You can do it separately from the game. It's not like you can trade much (or anything).

You're only at gunpowder? What's taking you so long? We've gone so far into Future Tech that we've evolved into a new life form that has no need for puny mortal technology. Hence the jokers with clubs. Don't ask me to explain the lion.
