I would build a couple of Stock Exchanges in productive cities. In the Modern Ages it will be cheap to steal techs from the Council/SABER. For that we freeze science rate to 0% and begin to accumulate gold. I think upgrading units is a way too expensive. It's a better deal to build units by shields. Propably I will disband Horses/Maces. We don't need Military Tradition at all. Tanks are just behind the corner, we would get to build tanks in 20 turns.
