Does CIV4 learn your individual gameplay style really well?

Well. what does he do right in you games? In mine he always:
1)Starts on a small island
and/or 2)Expands too slow
and/or 3) chooses the wrong religion

He tends to start in areas with alot of room to expand so he gets rather big, not the best tech rate but builds quite large armies. Normally plays the role of the big bully. The longer the games goes and the further advanced i get he gets weaker and weaker.
