Hi guys, noticed a lot of people on the civfanatics forums ( civ 5 modders really) Created polandballs. Anyone want to educate me on how to make one? I tried, and it came out pretty badly.

The whole point is that they are poorly drawn. To teach someone "how to draw a polandball" would be counterintuitive to the nth degree. It would be like having punk rock music lessons.

No really, I tried this and I struggle getting the flags of a lot of countries drawn into a ball. How do I even?

Not all flags are as simple as Poland.

They're not. But a lot of them are. Or very nearly are. They nearly all consist of straight lines and fields of a single colour.

Yea sure, like the UK and US flags.

Well, the UK flag does consist only of straight lines.

And the US one just has a sprinkling of stars.

It depends how much time you want to spend in Paint, I think. Probably the least the better.

Wow thanks for all the replies. As for polandballs I meant less those in a comic and more those that JFD, Pouakai, and others have. Those definitely aren't poorly drawn.

My misspelling of tutorial is cringeworthy though. Glad it made a few laughs however.

Love all the Poland references t hough. How did Polandballs start anyways?
