    WOW - I guess the offensive stacks I saw was Spain back being broke.

    Sounds like you must have found those blasted bombers and ended the harassment. ;)

    Indeed it does.

    Now, if you get some realy bad karma from the gods of random numbers, feel free to keep the game until you give Isabella that last, tantalizing, long awaited and very much deserved, sweet, sweet, sweet Kiss of Death.

    Spoiler :

    I don't think it'll take him more than 10 turns to finish unless the 2 island cities in the north require an obscene amount of troops to conquer.

    Oh wow sorry about that one. I thought I covered all of the stacks but I guess I missed one. Not the first time that's happened to me either :blush:

    Nice! Can you please post the save of the last turn before razing the city? I like to see the end game replay after every game I play.

    I have the same request as MrRandomGuy - can we get the last save before the win.

    Sounds like the army were pushed to hard. They often suck vs. infantry. The good thing is the game was so close to ending that it didn't matter.

    Me, too!

    Time of a little bit of gloating. :smug:

    ~~~
    This variant was more difficult (and more fun!) than I thought. Meeting the Wife on the 5th Lady Civ out of the six of them, and then saving her until last really gives her a strong position. In a 'normal' game we would have taken on Spain long before we focused on the Byzantines. And I don't think I've seen a game where Spain has been so strong.
    I still had the 1780 AD autosave; I've saved that to a normal save and attached it to this post.
