Hi all

Ok, is there away to have the first city build by anyone have a unique start building, unique to that player? All other players would have unique buildings as well.

Example: start building for Elves would be Eleven Palace, Humans would be Human Palace...

Or, change the palace to be that unique building?

I think not, not sure how the palace is implemented anyway but maybe you know different?

Thanks

Hi Hully,

I'm not sure if you can get unique palaces unless you put the city with that building in already.

But for a random start I'm not sure.

The best you can do is assign an Era=None tech to a Civ and associate a unique building(s) to that tech/Civ. Giving it a very low cost might make the AI build it ASAP, depending upon what advantages it provides.

As for the Palace - you can modify it (e.g., make it spawn units) but it must be the same for all Civs.

Best,

Thanks all

More or less as I thought.

Yes the spawn unit being the same for all is the problem, three races use the same TECH.

So one building for the TECH and then I'd have to introduce a second building to split them... not sure it's worth it.

The Problem:

3 races, Elves, Dwarves, Humans all of good alignment. The TECH is "Alignment Good" So all three have access to the TECH.

I'm looking for 1 building which will produce workers for each race of Good alignment which is all of them! But I have different worker for each...

I can do it, using 1 building for the TECH, and a second using era=none TECH, but it seems long winded and may not be worth it...

Thanks People
