I'd like to request the LC units from Earth 2160 if it wasn't asking to much.

I must put in a request on WWI Cavalry.

So far we have some odd examples that can be used for WWI Cavalry.
Then we have Wyrmshadows great Polish Cavalry.

In Tom2050 great transfers of ships from Civ4 to Civ3 models I indeed have a little hope that the many WWI Cavalry models for Civ4 also could be transformed into great Civ3 models.

I even found my great wish of that last Redcoat cavalry from the Zulu war

I could laos find Italians, US and Ottomans

I believe that this kind of units would lift and be welcomed in many mods (AOI perhaps) that will take the Napoleonics many great cavalry units onwards before we have armoured cars and tanks.

Then the Polish cavalry will not be alone fighting the tanks.

• BeBro's "British Cavalry" (really late 19th Century Horse Guards, but still ...)
• Wyrmshadow's "Civ Colored Cavalry" (and non-Civ color ...)
• Shady's "19th Century Kavallerie" (has rifle, can most definitely be WW1)
• Dragon Warrior's German "Kosaken"
• BeBro's "Modern Cavalry"
• Dom Pedro II's "Mongol Cavalry" (with rifle!)
• BeBro's Prussian Cavalry (again, 19th century, but still)
• TopGun's "1863 US Cavalry" works surprisingly well
• Kinboat's "Zulu Cavalry" is a great hoot (rifle armed)
• -and I also use Sandris' spear-armed, "Touareg Warrior" on camel

The successor unit to the "Bengal Lancers" was the, "1st Duke of York's Own Skinner's Horse." The unit was part of the "7th (Ambala) Cavalry Brigade, 2nd Indian Cavalry Division" when WW1 broke out and was partially deployed to France until 1916.

A photo HERE shows the still-traditional uniform in 1922 although this particular soldier is armed with a sword, not a lance.

Anyone out there willing to modify it a bit? Make the face blank, and get rid of the suitcase? Possibly replace it with a tentacle attack?

Well, this CSA Cavalry (being khaki colored) is with the Polish Cavalry the only ones I can guess typical of WWI cavalry.
From many different documentaries and photos most cavalry was not dressed very colorful.
I think the british even had the same headgear as the infantry.
Many of them given is not very good IMHO for WWI. BeBros are even "modern" with machinegun I think.

Some of them are very old and my hope was that someone took up the gauntlet and produced some great cavalry for the last era of the horseman.
