how does load and unload work at the same time ?

They do not, they are simply flagged so both work as needed, the Editor has settings for what Units can do... Not all at one time
In this case, it means the Pack Mule can Load into a ship and because it can transport other units, the Pack Mule can Unload them as wanted.

am still confused . Have a galleon , load 3 horseman units and a mule and the galleon runs out movement points right at the coast and ı click on the mule to unload the 3 horses ?

r16... Balthasar may have found some way to use Both Load and Unload together ( I never saw it) but as far as I am aware, the CivIII/Conquests Game will not allow a Transport to Load into a Transport.
I believe Balthasar wanted to load the Pack Mule with Resources and load the Pack Mule into ships.
You can use either Load or Unload but Not Both together.

The Pack Mule if used as a Transport should Not be flagged to Load unless you have a different Editor that will allow it.
If Flagged as a Transport, the Pack Mule should be set to Unload. It will then Not Load into a Transport. What ever is loaded on the Pack Mule will have to be transported across land.

r16... yes, I would also like the ability to have "transports" that when loaded could also Load in Ships.

In EFZI 2 Elite, I would be able to have the Cruise Mines Load into Ships to take them out in the water and drop them off ( and the Mines would be set as Immobile) But the Mines have to be Flagged as Sea Units ("Ships" ) in order to be in the water and you cannot load Ships into Ships... and That is why the "Cruise Mines" are mobile and I explained that the Nerds made the Mines Mobile.

Many things we just have to create some sort of "Work Around" and try to have it at least appear to be plausible

Did Imperator1961 ever make Soviet WW2 units? I can't seem to find them. It would be weird for him to leave out this major faction after having covered everything else.

Nope. He never got around to it. I've been wargaming for about 50 years ( ; ; ) and can assure you that, amongst that crowd, there are Western Front Devotees and Eastern Front Devotees (among the latter, a friend in high school spent two years devising an Eastern Front game at the battalion level!) and rarely did the twain meet, until sophisticated game design systems made it equally engaging to play either of the "Allied" sides (with GMT's Cataclysm knocking the ball out of the park ...) But I digress: nonetheless, that would be my best guess, for a guy who lives in northern Italy.

A naval Renaissance Era unit with a huge cannon like this would be great fantasy style or not as I suspect this hasn't been done yet.

Predator145, as it is unclear what in the unit entry you have changed, may be the easiest way for identifying that unit would be to download Gwendoline´s mod "One mans work" and to have a look into the civilopedia entries of that mod in the techtree boxes for the WW 2 units in that mod. If the unit icon was not changed, may be a look into the biq of that mod could be sufficient for identifying that unit, too.

True, but it looks and feels like an Ironclad while the Spelljammer ship is like a wooden frigate strapped with a huge gun
