Hello, somebody can create a bayonet charge whit rfilemans?? Thanks!

hi!
I'm looking for several units. For my Austria-Hungary MOD it would be great if someone could import those Civ IV units into CIV V: Austrian-Hungarian Hussar and Austrian Infantry - created by GeneralMatt http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=373307
I have also attached an icon of the Hussar from my mod.

And for the Celts I would need graphics for the Gaelic Warrior and Sons of Morrigan - see picture!

I hope someone is motivated to help me out ;)

I'd like to see some female units added. Someone did some for Civ IV, and maybe they wouldn't mind remaking them for 5?

I need some units for my mod: English Civil War

The units:

English Royalist Cavalier:
Spoiler :

This unit is a Lancer replacement and should look flamboyant and colorful. If possible, they should also not present a uniform appearance. I would like them to fire a pistol or carbine and then charge the enemy with sabres drawn but if that isn't possible then just charging with sabres would be preferred.

English Parliament Ironsides:
Spoiler :

This lancer replacement unit wears light armor and a pot helmet. They should present a uniform appearance to look like a cohesive, professional unit. Firing a pistol and then charging with sabres would be best but if not possible then just charging with sabres is preferred.

Scottish Covenanter Highlander:
Spoiler :

The Highlander is a musketman replacement. They are fairly difficult to place in Civ V terms because of their unique fighting style. They would fire a single volley from their muskets and then charge the enemy with a Targe (small round shield) and Broadsword (Broadsword in this context is a single-hand longsword). I am not sure if this type of animation is possible, however. The artist could exercise their best judgement here.

Irish Confederate Tory:
Spoiler :
This unit is an Irish rebel unit which fights using guerrilla tactics. It is a Musketman replacement but it could also be a Pikeman replacement using the half-pike if the artist prefers. They should have a very non-uniform appearance and an Irish feel. I don't have a specific image to work off so the artist could exercise their own judgement on how to achieve this.

If anybody wants to help or needs more information you can PM me or post in the discussion thread for the mod found at the top of the post or in my sig. I would greatly appreciate any assistance a talented artist could provide! :goodjob:

But without proper animations!

Oh no? I wasn't aware of that... unfortunately, you're not going to get 3D animations out of a Civ3 Unit. It'd be far easier to just reuse the vanilla knight animations.

See the previous post. Civ3 doesn't use 3D models, so it wouldn't be a "conversion." Someone would have to create the unit from scratch, perhaps using the 2D art as inspiration.

EDIT: In this case, it looks like the modder made a 3D model, and turned the result into sprites. However, I don't think he released his 3D art resources.

I’ve come across this model of the Kuznetsov carrier, can someone also convert this for Civilization 5 use?

Thanks in advance.

I'd like to see realistic female units, not oversexed, for an amazon civilization. similar to the ones made for civ4.

Can someone modify a few aspects of the Civilization V Paratrooper unit art so that it looks basically like a modern soldier? It looks like a few modifications could allow one to make the art for such a unit.

Edit:

I have now have produced a mod that includes a modern soldier (a modified version of the paratrooper).

It's now possible to create ranged units? I never see them in the topics.

I need a dragoon unit art, some like cossaks (cavalry with a musket) with the ability (and animation) tu fire at 1-range exe.

Other than fantasy units of all kinds (as usual), currently I need a simple Axeman unit. The Huscarl graphics (used in scenarios) is good for heavily armored medieval axemen, but I need an ancient, more "primitive" version, it can be something similar to the Civ4 Axeman model. Also a Maceman similar to the Civ4 version would be a nice thing...

Edit: The Egyptian "Swordsman" from danrell's pack looks good as ancient axeman, thanks :)
