Actually you've got it wrong about the TV show, in that episode it's Charlotte (The one usually most willing to please a man) who expresses disgust at having an uncircumsized penis, then she finds out he's having it snipped just for her, after which he decides his penis is now so magnificent he needs to show it to the world, and he dumps her. What a load of tosh.

Incidentally I think Samantha (The one who likes sex the most) might mention that uncircumsized penises are the best, but I think that's just there to show what a great big slut she is and how she'll enjoy sex with anything, even, god forbid, an unmutilated penis... heavens above!

No one cut my penis, however someone did cut one of my testicle. At the age of 14 i had a testicular torsion and let me tell you, it F****** hurts. To the point i passed out at the hospital when i arrived there.

I needed immediate treatment as the testicle can die in a few hours and must be removed! Thankfully, wasn't that bad and both are working fine to this day!

Well so you remove a covering,the covering of the head no less. It's not like any real part of your wee-wee is cut off, it's still the same length and all.


And on the whole sensativity issue. So you can feel more? We can last longer. So if you can have sex for 10 minutes with double the pleasure as us, we can balance that with lasting 20 minutes with half the pleasure as you

I think he might have been thinking something along the lines of:

"Maan... This itch is killing me! Gotta do something radical here."
(Though prolly in ancient Egyptian or similar.)

It's said to be a practice that makes perfect sense in the desert; not a lot of water for washing yourself and that sand tends to get in everywhere.

I've heard it being related back to Ancient Egypt where they saw snakes loosing their skins and growing that way. The Ancient Egyptians mimmiced this in an effort to "beat death". At first it was only symbolic, not really cutting anything away, but making cuts into the foreskin at max. In the 2nd century this act was harshened by truly cutting away the skins, because there were men who allowed their foreskins to heal, so the foreskins were cut away since then.
In the USA it was introduced in the 1860's as a means to counter masturbation. When this reasoning was proved incorrect; health reasons were invented to justify it. %-ages of circumcised men in the USA: 1871: 1 %, 1920: 50 %. 1971: 90 %

I am one of those very few (now you can all die happy knowing that I'm intact), but the most common reason I hear is hygiene. Though I have no freakin idea what the hell that has to do with this form of "whacking" it off.

Due to a research project I have done on AIDS and HIV, I read that the part that is removed during circumcision is more susceptible to the HIV virus than the rest. And having it removed slightly lowers your chances of catching the virus. But even if your partner doesn't have this virus (or the latter disease), you should still use a condom unless you want to lose half your paycheck for the next 18 years.

I don't know why it should be a religious practice either, I don't think saying "cut your johnson off and you'll get to heaven" is a very good selling point for anything, much less a religion (yes I know it isn't all removed).

Finally someone mentions the HIV/AIDS risk of having non-circumcision. I read friggin 5 pages or so, and NOBODY even hinted at it. Come on people. That is probably the main reason most in US get it, at least round here.

Our family came here from Germany in the late 1700s so we are definitely American and none of the males in our entire extended family let anyone cut anything off.
