On the other hand, I also heard the loss in sensitivity makes circumsised guys take longer to reach an orgam and as give the woman more value for the buck, sorta speak.

On the other hand it might mean the man acts more roughly with his partner and so might get off just as quick but do so with less finesse than others. Or it might make it so much harder for the guy to finish during oral sex... it's a trade-off, and certainly not one I'd want to swap!

I am circumcised, but it makes no #$*&ing sense why I am.

My parents are not jewish, or for that matter, religious, and they don't have any odd traditions that I know of.

When I asked them why I got it chopped, they gave the reason of:

"Your daddy is, so we figured it would be healthy for you if your penis looked like your daddy's."

WTH?

At first, apparently even for the secular people, it was pointed out that circumcision lowers your chance of getting certain diseases. Now I hear that its all BS. Oh well, not my fault that my parents are silly, nothing I can do about it either.

My bet is that in areas where the majority of the men are circumcised, girls will prefer circumcised men, while in areas where men still have their hats on, girls will prefer hats on.
Because if it were really true that women preferred circumcised men, believe me, 100% of males would get a circumcision RIGHT THIS MINUTE.

I was circumcised for two big reasons

1) It makes hygine when one is an infant, or very young and unable to clean themselves well, much easier. I suppose that area is prone to infection

2) everybody else in America does it. My parents didnt want me to be the guy in the locker room with "the funny penis". Plus, girls in america like it better.

I certainly havent suffered

For me, I am uncircumcised and I am part of the majority population. It just angers me that women in America would base their attraction wether or not one's "One eyed monster" is cut or not. I feel that cutting one's willy just because everyone else is doing it (The exception is if it has to do with one's religion such as Judism) and hear girls say that they like it better just gets me madder than Michael Moore in a Bush dinner.

The removal of foreskin isn't as perminent as people may think it is.

Also just to note, the stats at the end were taken of men already unsatisfied with being circumsized, it doesn't represent all of us curcs

I like where this is going so I'm not going to rain on anyone's parade or anything, but I'll tell you the story about my girlfriend.

We had been dating over 6 months in a serious relationship, and we decided to postpone sex until we were ready. I'm no "pimp" and she's no "slut" or anything, but the second that she saw that I was uncut she felt uncomfortable. I asked her what's wrong and she said my penis is strange, since I had a foreskin. She didn't know anyone else with a foreskin so she felt really uncomfortable and told me it was a HUGE turn off, that she did not want to have sex with me. I decided that was unfair to me and we just went our separate ways. This was a year ago, exactly.

The reason I'm brining this topic up now (And sorry for my wrong facts) is because I recently saw an episode of Sex and the City. I usually don't watch this show (it's for women) but my mom usually has this on in the background and there was a certain episode where the main character (Karrie) recently got a boyfriend and she was shocked to find out he was uncut. She and her friends had a discussion about it and most said that it was strange and she should dump him, but she was in a dillema because she liked the guy for his personality. She eventually confronted him about it and he decided to get cut just for her (!). Romantic, or sick?

Just to underscore how REAL this issue is, and undercut those who say "Well your GF doesn't care about you anyway if she judges you on your foreskin.". This is a real serious issue, I've known two of my very good friends who have also had their relationship ended on the basis of their foreskin. Women, in the USA, just can't stand uncircumsized men. I guess I'm SOL.

Infact, when speaking to many women about the issue, they said that to have it uncircumsized is nasty, horrible and disgusting, and they would refuse them based upon that fact.

This worries me. I guess I just have to hope that the women who I would get into this position with dont care.

I also think that it is so accepeted and even expected in the US that it sets up a terrible bias for those of us who are "uncut". I have friends that have no idea what circumcision is. They just epect their not to be foreskin. That is how ignorant people are.

BUT. The statement that it is only done because their fathers did it goes both ways. I am not circumsized because my dad wasn't and my granpa wasnt, and my great grandpa wasnt. It goes both ways.

I would never cut my penis for any woman. I'm already cut but if I wasn't I would leave a chick instantly who didn't have the proper respect (preferably worship) for my member.
