Up for an expansive game?

Excellent round and report pomthom! :thumbsup:

All tech choices look juicy, add physics to the wish list for air support.

Ras -> on deck!
Rusten
Folket
pigswill
pomthom -> just :spear:
Doshin -> kill them all...

lurker comment:

Good detailed report Pomthom! :goodjob: I don't quite understand why would you stop unit spam if going for military wins. How many AIs are you planning to take with cuirs?

@sinimusta
The reasoning behind it is that I don't see Cuirs conquering more than HC and Ragnar. Their forces are virtually spent, so 36 Cuirs should be enough for now. I also queued the HE in Amphibia to keep at least 1 city pumping units (we didn't have a level 4 unit before). A pause now let's us switch our weight a bit back on research to get to Communism/Rifling/Physics and regrow to prepare for a hammer economy...

It was a judgement call + the end of my turnset so if the team decided otherwise it could be reversed immediately.

Well, it seems Doshin is missing. Got it.

I will post a PPP in a few.

:run:

Techs: I was thinking communism for this set (low upkeep, improved shops, free GP) before resuming rifling path (Hatty must be working on physics I bet)

war front: Go for Cuzco then both Corihuasomething and Tiwanaku at same time.

trades: not much, maybe giving gold to Joao for his gpt (11)

buillds: HE in Amphibia is cool (boats)

Observatory in The Evidence, theaters/troops as it fits for the rest of our settlings.

edit: I'll try to get things started today.

PPP looks fine, the game practically by plays itself by now (:mischief: famous last words).

I think going Commies first is the superior.

The evidence is clear... this has been my worst SG set ever! :clap:

... and it was a three turn set.

IHT: I realize that 11 troops for Cuzco is unlikely to cut it: we will then be traped inbetween of no less than 4 cities at striking distance without reinforcement possibilities (maybe that was my judgement mistake, tell me), so I decide to regroup to have a shot at Corihuanasomething: it means prolly the same loss within 2 turns, but at least I will keep the city (that was my reasoning at the time at least). We will have about 20 healed units to strike next turn.

I am not too much emthusiastic about those numerous pinch units (wasted promo right here)

1080 ad: HC gets some more units, we can't take it in one go, I again wait a last turn because 9 more cuirrassiers are coming to the fight.

I attack. I get terrible luck and we don't get the city. We get a GG but who cares... still we can prolly take it next turn...

:lol: :pat:

1100 ad: Ragnar stack (which was hinding in the fog, I even reloaded to see if I didn't miss it) takes Carib!

[pissed] I stopped, pissed like if I was playing MP against the mighty Attacko.

@team: I don't think we can get back from this. Sorry if I blew it. :sad:

LOL I took a quick look and it's far from lost. You weren't really comfortable with the situation you were handed and got some bad luck so you got frustrated. The Ragnar stack was the icing on the cake :lol:

Yeah I think it was not a big risk to try Cuzco because the AI really doesn't know how to handle forking situations where he has to attack and protect multiple cities... maybe I'm wrong :dunno:

Well, we can all agree on that it was pomthoms fault. His last words jinxed you. :nono:

Let us whip out more currasiers and capture some incan cities while reinforcements can take care of Carib.

Such melodRRRRama :lol:!!

"@team: I don't think we can get back from this. Sorry if I blew it."

I took the liberty of completing the turn of your 1100ad save, by the end of the turn I'd captured Cory and recaptured Carb for the loss of two cuirassiers.

Yeah, we were definitely screwed :lol: :lol: :lol:

Will you upload the new save?

T'as bien raison, je le mérite carrement :D ( So true, I sure deserve it)

I have a lot on my plate at work currently and it's true I wasn't fresh yesterday to handle such dramatic early turns. I am not used to such openings (:lol:), Ragnar really annoyed me, I was in total fury :crazyeye:

:goodjob: Feel free to play some more, I can rearrange the roster.

Will you upload the new save?

or this at least ;)

And I thought warmongering was my strong point... :lol: :rolleyes:

I don't have an end of turn save but I (or anyone else ;)) could repeat it easily enough.
