It works very well, no major problems so far! Only eventual minor balance problems like Noyyau pointed out!

No. This one is outdated. Start the launcher and do "Community -> Modules > get modules". This link will give you all the infos.

Where am I supposed to place the master file in? I put it inside the mod's main folder but the launcher didn't seem to recognize it.
Never mind, working.

Minor note: the Italian civ should NOT use the HOLY_ROMAN type of sounds (the unit answers), since it's actually German.
If there isn't actual Italian audio (maybe some other mods have it? RFC Europe has them, or maybe Realism Invictus), just ROMAN audio makes more sense anyway. (Latin, the precursor to Italian)

It seems something has been changed in past few revisions since I am not able to load custom civs anymore.
At first, I was able to see custom civs ingame but every custom civ was "broken" (missing textures, pink squares in civiliopedia) and now they don't load whatsoever.
Is MCP0.fpk still required for this submod to run properly?
Are MLF_CIV4ModularLoadingControls.xml or CIV4ModularLoadingControlsSchema.xml configured properly so the submod can run?

Yes, MCP0 is required.
Do you use the launcher or SVN to update ?
Have you updated to the latest version ?

If you are using the launcher, make sure it's enabled in "Community -> Modules".

I'm having the same issue. I unpacked the repository and graphic package into the ROM:AND folder as stated in the instructions, but the Activation Status thing remains greyed out. How did you get it working?

Greyed out ? Is it listed ? If yes, just click on the mod name.

I meant that the words 'Activation status' are greyed out; the mod name isn't there. Please don't waste any time trying to help - I'm obviously missing something as I can't get ROM:AND to work at all now, so am reinstalling it. I'll try this pack again when my brain is in better shape!

Ok. Just get the latest full build and remove the mod before to reinstall. Keep me informed.

OK, I've reinstalled ROM:AND and extracted the two files into the folder. The civ4_and2_megapack-master folder is in the ROM:AND folder, and MCP0.FPK is in the Assets sub-folder. Are these locations correct?

The pack is still not showing up on the updater. I see "Community -> Modules -> Get modules -> [three module options]" and "Community -> Modules -> Activation status:". I'm guessing that the pack ought to show as an option on the 'Activation status' line, but it doesn't.

I'm having a similar problem. I've download the files and extracted them, but when I try to activate them under community/Modules, the activation status is greyed out.

Thanks,

Mike

Did you restarted the launcher (it is not a real-time-detection) ? Is there a Custom_Civilizations_MCP in Assets/Modules/?

@Sogroon: As of revision 902, the modern flags are now optional (as your wish). If you want to do extra work, you can replace all MCP modern flags by old one and I'll add the modern version to the main mod "Modern_flags" modules, so the Modern flags checkbox will also have an effect on MCP. What do you think about that ? No hurry, I know you're busy these days.

When you have downloaded the file "civ4_and2_civmegapack-master.zip", I think you have extracted the folder civ4_and2_civmegapack-master into the mod directory, but you need to extract what is INSIDE this folder to the mod directory.
Look inside the folder, there is also an "Assets" folder.

I'll try to make MCP installation easier in the future.

Good idea, but... I don't think we have alternatives. At least not for all. But will look after it anyway.
And yes, I am busy IRL. I haven't played Civ for a week

That's done it. Thank you! Just clarify the installation instructions with the above note for us easily confused folk :)
