Since installing the new patch, Take Two has asked me to click "agree" on the updated user agreement each time I've booted up the game, and just now while I was exiting play. Is this happening to anyone else? It doesn't seem to be registering for some reason.
I found the folder with the executable, and I'm able to use a custom launch command, the same as Civ VI. Let's see if that changes anything. Thanks for the suggestion!

So far, so good. I've loaded and then immediately exited games twice, plus I just played for about 40 minutes, and no sign of the user agreement. Hopefully it's either bypassed, or I'm registered as having signed it.
I've only had it appear once. I've quit and loaded the game maybe six times since then. I always save game, quit to main menu every time I take a break.
...there's a launcher? Never seen it. I just run the game from steam or the desktop shortcut.
Yep, same here. I tried using the launcher bypass technique that I use in Civ VI, but it didn't change anything. (Nothing seemed different in terms of the boot-up sequence either. I don't see a launcher like I used to see in Civ VI before I edited the game properties in Steam.) After playing for a while, I had to agree to the EULA again. It's a little annoying, and I hope this isn't a sign that the game is going to stop working after March 28th because of a stupid glitch.
I went ahead and reported this to 2K/Take Two. I'm worried it might wind up preventing some of us from being able to play the game if the program isn't retaining our agreement with the terms of service.
Age transition actually brings main menu - civilization selection screen is built on top of it (as unfortunate HDD owner I see the process of loading assets). And this screen appears in main menu.
Just saw it again after exiting gameplay. First time today, after not seeing the popup three or four times in a row. They must have added something with the update that isn't functioning correctly. I'd imagine we'll be seeing this a lot until the next patch, at least.

Immediately after I installed the update yesterday and booted up the game, I saw it. Since then, I've seen it I think five times (twice in a row tonight), always after I exit gameplay. Sometimes I don't see it, sometimes I do. I'm waiting to get a notification from them that they've seen my bug report. They've gotten back to me about the other issues I've submitted.
I get it only when exiting to desktop. I can exit to main menu and restart games without issue but leaving the game completely brings it up every time.
