v 26, and above ALL Bugs/Crashes reporting thread

No need to state the obvious. ;)

On topic:
Most Recent SVN (rev 3798) shows a broken sevopedia and in addition resource display which doesn`t work.

In addition i got a global warming event 5.000 BC!!

Can you spell it out please - I don't see what's wrong in the images!?

How do I know what number I have?

I would imagine it would be that in both sevopedia screenshots he posted you can see that they are both scrolled all the way down and yet they both end at the letter C entries.

Unless you guys removed all Great Wonders and Units that start with the letters D-Z in the last SVN, then this is a problem.

I just stardted a new game too test the new viewports with a huge map and Pfw2 svn 3795

Viewports seems ok, but I'm in 36880 BC and I haven't seen any animal !!!

That likely means I made some mistake in the multi-threaded code for spawning.
Try deactivating that by setting USE_MULTIPLE_THREADS_SPAWNING to 0 in Assets/XML/A_New_Dawn_GlobalDefines.xml

Yeah i can confirm that NO animals are around, i have a Giant Map with NO animals on the map.

btw, where does it have the spawning of the Neanderthals, i'd like to see ALOT more of them, on this Giant Map, i have seen only maybe 10?? Should have at least 30 of them by now??

AIAndy, yeppers as soon as i turned it to 0 they started spawning again.

V26p1

Not sure if this is still applicable, or even a big deal.

I moved a save game from my old XP system that used viewports to a Win7 system without viewports (A giant map, even with viewports, had apparently gotten to the point where the XP system was consistently CTDing at end of turn).

Starting the save on the Win7 (no viewports), upon being prompted I recalced. I noticed that resources now looked correct... Except for some Peyote that are still floating over the desert hills they are located on.

Not a big deal, just seemed rather odd to see that with viewports off.

I can provide a screenshot and/or save game, if desired, later this evening.

Oh one other thing. A tribe of Barbarians recently turned into the Brazilians. Their flag is a solid dark blue field.

V26 vanilla :
After a revolution in french civ in an ancien arabian city (Medine), arabians are back as rebels (minor civ).
This city is well placed (with... PIGS), so I want to capture it, but none of my units can move in culture border

(in the screen, the units inside city are my rogues ; yes revo occured for a reason)

Bump, with maybe the reason :
Arabians are minor civs, but i m not at war with them.
So I cant declare war (no diplomaty), and I cant enter in their civ (no war)

SVN 3798

The Bloodhound I promotion says: "+20% vs. CriminalJoin City"

I fixed the bug with the multi-threaded spawning code in revision 3799, so it can be switched back on.

@AIAndy - No DLL/PDB for it in the archive yet - that seems to be what Mouthwash's minidump is against (at least it doesn't match the previous). Could you see if his minidump makes sense with your PDB please (and push the PDB/DLL when you get a chance)

Ok, I JUST downloaded the latest SVN and it crashed once again. Here: View attachment 332111

Minidump still doesn't seem to match either last night's or the latest DLL.

Could you tell me:

1) What rev is displayed in the hover text for your flag (bottom right of screen)? There's a line near the top that says 'Caveman to Cosmos build XXXX, game saved from build YYYY' - it's the XXXX that I need (from any game you can load or from an entirely new game)

2) What is the date on the minidump file (i.e. - verify it is actually the latest rash that generated it)?

I cannot reproduce the pedia issues with the GW list being truncated to C (with latest SVN). Does it happen for you in all contexts - pedia from main menu, pedia from inside games, all games???

1) 3762

2) Yes, it's from today, a few hours ago.

Is it intentional that I can't relocate my capital through building the palace in another city? It does not show up in the building list anymore and when showing all buildings it is greyed out with "National wonder: -1" although I'm playing without wonder limits.

I am on rev 3801 and it I get no animals unless I switch it off.

Do you have the tech requires? Masonry I think.

Hey, wait, mine isn't the latest SVN? I don't think I've been updating properly.

I first update the desktop SVN, then I export to a folder in C:, then I copy the content to my copy in the mods folder and overwrite what I need. Anything wrong there?
