v22 bugs and crashes

The :hammers: loss is only for building Land Units though and thus completely alright in my opinion. You should look at other types of buildings to increase land unit :hammers: as once you move on to a Leather Factory the type of units you build no longer need the Tannery.
Alternatively the bonus to Land Unit :hammers: from Tannery could be faded away slowly when units no longer needing as much leather are starting to be built. By the time of Leather Factory that :hammers: bonus should be gone already.

Cheers

There's two separate bonuses from the Tannery:
  • +15% production for Land Units
  • +5% general production with each of Salt and Wax

I will agree that the hammer penalty that is showing up is probably the total penalty in all cases, but I don't think you should be penalized for upgrading a building.

How much leather would really be used for land units in the industrial era? Things like plastics, nylon and other materials would replace benefits leather use to give to more primitive units.

In short would you rather Tannery just go obsolete like in RoM/AND or have it be replaced?

A lot. Plastics and Nylon are not until the modern era. Rubber would replace some but not all, cloth (webbing?) did replace some strapping.

There's a pink square for the swamp event

For some reason my turns have become very slow 20-30 seconds. Even the waves stop moving so I thought it had crashed, but it does come back. It was 1-2 seconds then about 5 turns ago it went slow.

Latest SVN, + dart frog but removing the dart frog does not change anything. :(

keeps crashing to desktop

Just a thought (I haven't checked out your save yet), but the loop in the tch tree that was in the SVN for about a day (think it was fixed sometime yesterday) might cause this I suspect. Can you confirm you are still crashing on the very latest SVN (as of today)?

yeah i got svn and its crashing

Thing is if he updated before the change and then after it might notta stuck for some reason, i have had that happen before and one item was missing.

Best thing to do if you have a good internet provider with DSL speed or better like me, is just delete all the SVN in the folder you have your SVN in, and then hit update, but leaving the main SVN file in there only, i hope you understand this, and i bet you, it will take care of the problem.:) IMHO:p

yeah once you end turn tried it a bunch of times.

Oh also wanted to mention while i was just playing Mali gave me 4 techs and 3 resources for copper those 4 techs were techs no-one else had since he is 1st in techs. I thought this was pretty unfair (for the rest of the AI) but i took the deal nonetheless

I'm not bothered by this one right now (because I'm kinda busy with other stuff), but in general when you see bad trades (or at least perceive them to be bad trades) make a save BEFORE accepting the tarde (i.e. - a save that can be loaded and the same trade proposed to debug the evaulation) and post it please.

Just had a glance at the civinfos of the Maori.

They should. Note that the Wonder and Culture are correct but the Civ is not. Looks like SO is not familiar with them.
