Vassal question

Copying this out from our team game thread, can be used for other vassal stuff too ofc later.
I see "we are afraid of your enemies" when asking Cathy about capitulation.
Does that mean they will always vassal if peace is made, or will there be more checks afterwards?

Not unimportant, cos i was ready to move units on.

Also not sure, but my guess is no. I would not bet on "we're afraid of your enemies" having the absolute lowest message priority, at any rate.

Another check will still be made - the the 2/3*(total combination of world power), that is, they must fall below that #. If they don't fall below that # you'll then receive the "We're doing just fine on our own" message, which is the most common and typically caused by taking on previous Vassals which have very low city and power rating (just kill them off in the 1st place or gift back enough cities).

Hmm makes sense, Cathy could be the weakest power AI (she or Stalin) so i was wondering.
You were right with this one just being lower priority

I made cease fire in this game with Hatshy and killed some Cathy units (lowest power in demos dropped, so yep she's weakest), but now we still get "we are doing fine on our own".
