Work and testing is moving along for patch v3.10

I suggest folks check out the Roadmap in the Bug Report section of the Main ViSa Website to keep up on things.
 
I was thinking you should add a mod that are exclusive to a certain time period or age... like only being able to build the manhattan project in the early 1900s or something like that

Not possible with Firaxis....it would be nice, but that request must be made to Firaxis, not us.

What mod?

I am not aware of being able to put a year range restriction on anything....and that would make no sense because Civ is not a replica of history, so things don't happen in the exact same year as it did in real life :crazyeye:

I have also totally redone all the Game Speeds except Normal....based on changes I have made to FexFX's original mod.

As you can see above, we are fixing a bunch of stuff and not adding anything....we also hope to get some tweaking of the Civics done in the next two weeks before we release the Patch V3.10
 
Just another note on Drill Sargent's. I have found that after a unit reaches a strength of about 17, then the Drill Sargent is done training the unit. I have a city of 21 units on my border watching the Chinese . Several of these units are over strength of 17 and cannot be trained. I will further refine the number where the units cannot be trained anymore.

Let me publish here an idea

It is kind of part of Roads and Lands but I and S&#246;&#246;r feel it could be a separate issue and
put in the game even now

So:

How about making forts to have a 3x3 zone of own culture, that is, own land?

By this, forts culd have strategical importance, when on border, it could claim land and, say,
important tile from the neighbor civ.

This 3x3 could not be "pushed" by foreign culture, as long as you have unit in the fort...

But maybe foreign culture (when strong enough) could make own unit "be gone" from the fort
or something like that...

What do you think?

How hard is it to add more leaders? Saddam, Hitler, Bush Jr. would be great.

I wouldn't count on those being added ANY time soon.....but I will stop short of NEVER.....

V3.10 coming out soon is just fixes, and V3.20 in a couple months probably won't add anything either.....just fixes and speed enhancements.
 
a question and idea:

There is this Woddsman II promotion - so you can move 2 in forest...

BUT why can can you move also on HILL???
It could be that you can move two only in plain-forest,
that is, to move on to a hill would still mean 2 moves...
 
another little thing:

In the mililtary advisor F5-window,
there could be a list of my units that could be ranked as of date of creation
and XP points (this latter is more important)

Also, there could be a rating of my army as being modern or not, strong or not...
