"My fellow Tropicanos, it is very good to see that you have decided to choose me as your new President. And I am glad, for it means I can finally start to give our great nation part of what it has given me in all of these years.
"I know it has been a hard choice, for all of the other candidates gave equally worthy reasons why they should have been the President, and to all of them I say that I hope that, despite of this election not going their way, that they will accept this and support the government's actions for at least the next four years. Should they believe that I have not done a good job, then it is their right to present their candidacy to the office of President of the Republic then.
"Now, in front of us stands the first year of what will be a new era of prosperity for all of us, a new era for our beloved Republic, in which not only will we break the chains the former President put on us, but also the chains of poverty, and the weight of those that only wish to enrichen themselves without any care for all the good people of our República.
"For now, I have ordered that the first houses for those that don't have them are built, and also the construction of new workplaces that will, hopefully, be the first step towards showing the world that our nation is amongst the greatest in the world.
"I only have one more thing to say, my friends: ONWARD, TROPICO!"
"Mis amigos Tropicanos, es muy bueno ver que al final habéis decidido elegirme a mí como vuestro nuevo Presidente. Y estoy alegre, pues esto significa que por fin puedo empezar a dar a nuestra gran nación parte de lo que ésta me ha dado a mí todos estos años.
"Sé que ha sido una dura elección, pues todos los demás candidatos dieron razones de igual peso por las que deberían haber sido elegidos Presidente, y a todos ellos les digo que, a pesar de que esta elección no ha ido como desearan, que acepten esto y apoyen las acciones del gobierno durante al menos los próximos cuatro años. Si creen que no he hecho un buen trabajo, entonces están en su derecho de presentar su candidatura a la oficina de Presidente de la República.
"Ahora, frente a nosotros se halla el primer año de lo que será una nueva era de prosperidad para todos nosotros, una nueva era para nuestra amada República, en la que no sólo romperemos las cadenas que el antiguo Presidente puso sobre nosotros, sino también las cadenas de la pobreza, y el peso de aquellos que sólo desean enriquecerse a costa de todas las buenas personas de nuestra República.
"De momento, he ordenado que sean construidas las primeras casas para aquellos que no las tienen, y también la construcción de nuevos lugares de trabajo que, espero, serán el primer paso hacia demostrar al mundo que nuestra nación se halla entre las más grandes del mundo.
"Sólo tengo una cosa más que decir, amigos míos: ¡ADELANTE, TRÓPICO!
