Steph, it`s not needed "right now", but it would be useful to have them already. I have some of the source images, but you have a lot more possibilities with your military library and knowledge.

Sandris, maybe you can add an attackb with sword to your units like French Fusilier 1700, Russian Musketeer and British Musketeer 1700? The others units (who have the bayonet) have all an attackb so I think it would be great and complete the units. I know it is more work for you but...

Two things:

1) Some of the pedia icons have a too long file name. You will have to cut down some names in order to make C3 able to read them.

For example, I had to rename

FrenchImperialGrenadier1812Large.pcx (32 chars + extension)

to FrenchGrenadier1812Large.pcx,

because the game crashed. The simple reason was that Civ read something like (filename).p or (filename).pc instead of pcx - it was just too long.
In order to avoid this AND have descriptive filenames, you could go and put LG and SM instead of Large and Small.

FrenchImperialGrenadier1812LG.pcx (29 chars, seems to work)

2) I noticed that the Rifleman pcx are on the pink side again. I felt free to make a brighter version, hope you don't mind.

O yes, I've been waiting for these to com out ever since your british troops came out. Fantastic stuf.

I beleve I did notice a mistake with your 1890 rifleman though. First you have the jacket comming almost strait down from the belt to form a 90 degree angle. The jacket should start to gently curve back to its lowest point behind the calf. This basic jacket was used by the french from the 1850s all the way to the battle of france in 1941, and probably after that in north africa, my refrence books don't say one way or the other. There was also a jacket of similer cut to the one you used but it had a lot of white and red decerating the uniform. It's kind of fard to tell at thit timeperiod as uniforms still tened to vary some within the same army of some nations. If this jacket was used at this time I would love to see it, if it is in a book I would love to know the title and author.

But they are all fantastic units, and I know that I am going to be replacing BAP's and Nemesis Rex's french units with your 1812 and 1890 units.
