War always f**ks US up...

I'm an Aussie and I'm bloody happy I am... But I don't want no damn war to happy which we are going to get all of our good men killed in... It happened in both the World Wars and to a small extent the Vietnam War... We have squat all population and we always field a huge amount of troops when compared to population... Millions of Australian lives have been lost because - A) We thought that we owed the English for looking after us with their great monarchy (cough, cough, yah right, cough...) and B) Because we are the nice guys! We like helping people! And we endevour to keep ties with countries such as the US, UK, France, Germany and Japan on good terms! But c'mon! We have 18 million people here! If there hadn't been those two world wars our population would BE OVER 50 MILLION! We would be producing more, making more money and finally be able to comptet to some small degree in world economy compared to some of these superpowers who we import so much from!

This **** in America sux and someone has to pay... It's quite obvious that the turmoil that has been building up in the Middle East since the Gulf War has finally come to a head and that it is mainly irritance and hate at having so many other countries - Yes, hasn't only been the Us, also UK and Australia have had large <br />"peacekeeping" forces in the gulf for some time and also looking out on Bosnia and Afghanistan... Of course people in these countries are going to be pissed off... Some people just don't want help...

WE are all civilized and this tragedy is making us all into a bunch of twats... Yeah, the world is pissed off, yeah I'M pissed off! But ****... who's going to lose out in a war? Civillians and people in the poor arse countries that will get invaded to make their way to the leaders in these recent problems... And what will happen when the armies get to them? Duh! You got, Nada,, Nothing, Zilch... they will get locked up (maybe) in a plush prison with better features than anyone could ever need and be let out again in a couple of years...

This war will be fought.. but it will be fought with Spies, Espionage and lots of money and contacts... I doubt that there will be many countries out there that will not assist with those types of assistance... If this ever did escalate to a war we all know that the first counrty to fire a nuke will become absolutely flattened by the rest of the united world.

This may be what we need for world peace but will it be worth the price???

Anyway, Hope you can understand my blather and I hope I haven't offended anyone by what i've said... (As far as I can tell there is no flameable material in there!!! <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> )

I don't think that will be the case THIS time (when did we ever jail a leader in a plush prison after a war? I'm not asking rhetorically--DID this ever happen?); no we shouldn't have let Saddam continue to rule Iraq--that's likely biting us in the butt as we speak. But it sounds like we'll be repealing our rules against killing leaders--I think bin Laden's life expectancy is about a month right now. But if we do haul him to trial, he will NEVER get out of prison (what with 5000 counts of murder!). And if we let him be with the general prison population, he may not survive in the joint long, either....

Bush just declared he is wanted dead or alive....

As for Australia, I have nothing but admiration for your fighting spirit and generosity (both in and out of war!)--yes you HAVE often done more than your share in conflict, and this American salutes you! But although we will welcome help from wherever it comes, this one is mainly our fight, and we won't look down at you if you don't spare as many troops as usual--you won't have to, we won't win by numbers but by tech. Your special forces will be greatly welcomed I'm sure though--they're some of the best in the world!

I spose...I'm thinking of one of Australia's big faults in keeping war prisoners in plush surroundings... wasn't thinking of the american death penalty... of which I fully approve and think they should have it here... Especially for people like Bin Laden... Murderers, Child Molesters, paedophiles and Rapists... He's up there with them and someone has to let him know...

Hey, You know what they say... Put our Troops together with the UK leaders (military) and your equipment and resources and we have a force to be reckoned with!!!

what we need is James Bond or Bruce Willis (Go Bruce!!!) to go wreak havoc on his arse and ream his arse with a pumpkin... C'mon, a bunch of Green Beret, SAS and American Navy Seals would go rank and whup his untrained troops arses!!!<br />Boom, Boom, two sniper shots and he's dead! hmmm, just to let another take up the riens... yep, no easy end to this one eh?

Uh yeah, siggys right. These ****ers have been fighting since they were kids. They know how to fight and kill better than anything else.

A great deal of young "elite" forces, have probably never even seen any real combat. Training is wonderful, but it can never prepare anyone fully for the real thing.

If we go into Afghanistan to take out Bin Laden, have no doubts, people are going to die. It's not going to be easy.

Hmmm, yep, should have known there would be something wrong with my reasoning there! Here I was thinking this whole war to be is going to be a peice of piss and no lives lost! <br />Yup, I'm that nieve...

I was just trying to say that those three forces mentioned were pretty tough... But yeah, of course people are going to die... but know one wants to know about that side of the story, they all want to think of it as a glorified fight for the country crap...

I personally think that every country should donate about 5 of their best hitmen/special forces/pshycho's/head hunters and send them all after a certain target and arm them with advanced sniper equipment to take out all the main threats with money, forces and crazy ideas...

I dunno, I'm just glad I'm not a world leader at this time.. (maybe before or after everything is finished <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> ) I wouldn't wish these kinds of decisions on anybody...<br />Anyway, I'm going home for the day (hehe, very productive work day!) and will post some more later perhaps...
