For "war songs" it is hard to beat the World War era. Here are a few good ones I can think of off the top of my head:


Over There, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, and (There'll Be Bluebirds Over) The White Cliffs of Dover.

Although if you're looking for something to kick butt to, AC/DC is good.
