Warhammer Fantasy Mod 2.5

hum...the thing is,after making some citys the settlers just lose the "build a city" button, and the shortcut ("B" I think) don´t work too -__-

bizarre, anyway, when I play the normal game everything is normal

btw, I play c3c 1.22,this is the only mod I have :0

Thats really strange. Try starting a war if you have a small neighbour, and raze some of his cities, then quickly try to build a few of your own (have your settler ready, cos the AI will make a run for it too). I think its the city-limit cap of 512 cities.. I can`t think of anything else..

hum..the problem is that this happens early in the game(so no way the map have more than 60 citys)

the 1st time I played(with orcs) this didn´t happened :p

LizardmenRule! seems to be right on the spot - the build city action / 'b' disappear when you're over a tile such as Desert or Swamp, which do not allow cities.

You aren't trying to build cities on terrain that you can't build cities on are you? :)

I´ve checked the Civiclopedia(I don´t know how to spell this...) and there didn´t say anything about being impossible to buy citys in deserts/swamps, but probably this is the cause, lawl, I will test when I can and then post here the results ^___^

*fells dumb*

Thanks for the info :=], I had to start over again because of a damn large desert, anyway, there is any tech that allows me to build on deserts?

Excellent mod :goodjob:
Only one semi-problem so far. When I play regicide, I have lots and lots of duplicated king units, is that normal:confused: Also, purely for aesthetics, has anyone made a Malekith unit that looks like Malekith?

Just regular regicide. I get 7 king units. I just tried mass regicide and had zero king units. I also tried both regicide and mass regicide in normal game and it works fine, just not when I play WH2.5.

It looks like labels.txt not matching your version. Are you using Conquests 1.22 ? (PC or Mac?)

Does this mod work with the 'complete' edition? I've tried searching the forums for an answer but couldn't find anything that answered that question? Thanks in advance!

Yes it does, at least with the PC version. Macs require some modifications on the user's part.

Thanks for the reply. I tried to play it last night, forgive me if I'm being stupid, but I got 'file not found' messages, and after reading the installation instructions (about how WINRAR may rename files) what files should I have to go in the Conquests/Scenarios folder ? I have the '.biq' file and a folder called 'WH2.5' (If i recall correctly)

Um.. both should go in the Conquests/Scenarios folder. You can also put mods ("x".biq and folder "X") in Conquests/Conquests folder. In that case you start the game by going to the Conquests section in the game`s Menu. It seems that the mod runs faster if you do it this way, atleast on my computer it does..

There should be no 'WH2.5' folder. If you have one, it looks as if you did not extract directly to Conquests/Scenarios, but to a folder with the rar name. The end result should be a 'WH2.5.biq' file and a 'WH2' folder, with Art and Text folders inside it. It's doable with a single right-click command on the rared file (Extract to...) without any file moving etc.
