Did I send orders? Oh yeah, I did. Here comes a story.
-------------------------------------------------------
King John the First, soldierking of Amorfal rode around the country with his retinue.
He instructed the nobles to each send an ambassador and a page to Amor where they would meet with him. He planned to increase troops numbers.
"Hail thee nobles of Amorfal! We have come with a royal decree for all those who love their country and their privileged positions through nobility. You, my assembled nobles of the country will supply Us with:
50 (Human) Horsemen
150 Archers and
200 Warriors
"This is quite a modest amount We think. And there will be hell to pay if it doesn't show up within six moons!"
He then made a round-tour to the cities of Amorfal, organizing and drafting urban militias that would accompany his newly recruited and paid for army to the front. Every free city not under occupation would send him 200 warriors and Amor 400 (total of 1200 Warriors).
His army assembled he rode to the front lines where his recruits and draftees made a rezendevous with the army in the field. On the way he had also gathered volounteers that had met up with army either in the cities or while travelling through the country and he had drafted three hundred young sons of the farmers close to the coast and in the inner, more remote parts of the countries untouches by the war (for a total 'wish'/conscription of 1700 Warriors, 150 Archers, 50 (Human) Horsemen + volunteers).
With all of his men gathered he quickly led them to the front where the leaderless Tarak army waited. There he made an attempt to rally them at the break of dawn.
"Men of Tarak. The Goblin scum must die. Rally with US and WE will kill them all and regain your lost glory. The King of Tarakfal has sent a new general but ordered that in the meantime you will be under OUR command. FOR WE ARE A TRUE SOLDIER AND WARRIOR. FOLLOW ME NOW AND SLAY THE GOBLINS AND TREACHEROUS RAT CREATURES AND YOU MAY RETURN TO YOUR WIVES AS MEN AND NOT MICE!" With that as the morning sun shone in the west John raised his sword high in the air and pointed in the direction of the goblin forces.
"VICTORY AWAITS US!" and he would ride in the front like the kings of old. With a kick to the side of his horse, the steed set into a slow trot so the soldiers could follow directly behind him and his royal guard.
*battle orders will be sent Warman*
"Oh come 'ere 'a the break of day, to claim the long forgotten road..."
