TURN 2- 1510
Updates:
Many nations increase their economic power including Tarakfal, the Palship of Coren, the Palship of Nanmar, Catalia, the Palship of Finif, the Imperial Orcs, and Davania.
The Palship of Coren has developed naval warfare. Thi swil lallow them to contruct galleys. Coren is presently the largest naval power of the orcs and dominates sea trade. The one extra gold has allowed their economy to grow.
The Palship of Finif meanwhile has found mountains to the east, but settlers opted to head south-west for farmlands. There may be riches that await in these mountains.
In other orc news, the Imperial orcs mass a general expansion westward as they slowly creep across a large area. The navy of fishingboats that is sent west is never heard from again. Perhaps a real navy is needed to reach the unexplored parts.
The dynastic rule of the dwarves which has been in power for several hundread years has ended. The Cuivienen dynasty has come to an end. The new king of the dwarves is one of the strongest around. He believes in brute force and military power. He plans to make the dwarves powerful through military gains and conquest. A large spending on the military makes the Dwarven army grow exponetionally. Thousands make up the Dwarven army ready to march outside their borders.
As nations continue to scrammble for land in the island of Hragen..
Amorfal invades the Illorian colony! Amorfal sends all but 500 archers to take this land. The few colonial defenses there are quickly overrun and Amorfal declares the colony their own. Illoria has troubles elsewhere however. Amorfal is in an even bigger trouble though.
The Goblin horde is on the move once more! Once agian the family of Contempt which has ruled the lost tribe since its cross over the mountain has gone to war. This time it strikes out agaisn their elvish foes. Almost two thousand pour over the illorian border. The Illorian border defenses are swept away. The goblins rampage as the Kign must rally troops to the cause. He must act quick as an Illorian port comes into view of the Goblin army.
The Dwarves strike on two fronts! The new dynasty has drawn up new plans to help the Goblins. The fomer king made a secret pact with the goblins to fight the elves, now the new king wishes to continue this policy to show military might. 200 Dwarven soldiers of mixed variety have struck out and have almost cut of the exterior lands of Illoria. Duing so would surely allow the goblins to swallow up all these lands with ease.
The Dwarves strike north as well! In a pre-emptive strike agaisnt Illorias ally Davania, the dwarves have sent a force of 375 horsemen to pilalge the countryside. They have taken much of the bordering countryside and pose a large threat to Davanian security.
In what appears to be an even larger shock is that while near all the Amorfal army is away, the goblins have invaded with more than 5500 troops in three groups of near 2000 troops each. This has allowed them to cover much more ground then one large push. The Amorfal militias are unable to stop this force and already a city has been besieged by Goblin forces. Only a combined human army could possibly defeatthe goblins at this point.
Story:
Follonar has continued to write his thoughts down. The philosopher has moved out of the realm of poetry and into a more structured thought. He has created two new books entitled The True Weight of Gold and The Real Values. His books continue to gain popularity with the nobles and royalty and are despised by the merchants. As he writes his books a new invention is created in a building just several blocks away from his house by one of his own friends even. The priniting press has allowed his books to gain popularity acorss all the skaven nations. This may also allowed more then the rich and elite to have the ability to read.
look at those Amorfal! Asking us powerfull orcs to give them gifts! We should give them only the gift of our rule upon their people!
