I don't care for amazon. I pretty much only use it if a product is unavailbile or it is signifiantly cheaper than play.com . Amazon seem to take forever to ship something and their free delivery is pretty crappy. From play I've ordered stuff one morning and it arrived the following day. And all shipping was free.

They apologized and have reduced the price to original amount. They aren't so bad after all.

I had a bad incident pre-ordering Civ IV (that special edition you got if you pre-ordered), but that's the only bad experience I have ever had with them. I purchased a Prime membership last fall and have already more than paid for it with saved shipping costs. Two day shipping, free, you just cannot go wrong with that. If you want to pay for overnight, it is only $3.99.

I've never once had a problem with Amazon and I've bought maybe 30-40 things thru it (I'm not just saying this because I have a vested interest ).

Actually, I had one bad experience with a third party seller but when I threatened to give them bad feedback the replaced my item quickly.

No Swedish Amazon, no. There's Swedish online booksellers, but they can't match amazon.com for English language titles, and they don't offer free shipping. Some offer very cheap shipping, tho.

ever tried Amazon.de? I get all my english books through them, and they deliver for free to Switzerland (I even get to keep the VAT )
