BCLG100 - Simon seems like a straight shooter. Very loyal and dedicated to the game. A good tactician.
Whomp - Bernie is pretty straight as well. He is a natural leader and is willing to step up when others won't. A good diplomat.

So, do we have any psych types in the group that would care to assign characteristics to each team? Or more specifically, to the core, dominate players, weighted by the assigned diplomat?

In the last game MIA was very focused and was able to run KISS right through the middle but an earlier alliance between KISS and DNuts could have threw some water on them.

Hmm, what I seem to be rambling on about here is more than just a general assessment of the opps but the fact that the threat assessment was certainly flawed. And coming full circle back to the opps traights, it's more likely that the threat was seen by both the DNuts and Kiss (especially a paranoid few) but the collective inability to negotiate a path forward as quickly as the game was moving.

We need to find the teams that we can play well with if we find ourselves in the face of a growing threat.

Initially tied themselves to the wrong horse but certainly recovered from that.

I would be leary of negotiations w/ these guys.

It would be nice to find a way to exploit the outspokenness of the less strategic players.

This team will be interesting to engage. It would be interesting to decipher who's leading the negotiations.

Council is for the 2:d time lately overdue in the turntracker and Free has a new TP delivering the goods 5 minutes before deadline. This might mean zip, but my sense for correlations says the F/C dirtbags are way up diplo river.
Q is, what are they planning? A wild guess is that our fabulous GongLib plays part in the discussions and that, maybe, they've reached a point where strong opinions on sharing the techs is raised.
