Hi to all Civ fans.. I am new here but I love civilization and I started playing the game from Civilization 3.. Now I am playing civilization 5 and awaiting for Civilization Network
Long time lurker first time poster hehe. I have been playing Civ since I had it on Super Nintendo. I have always loved it but it isn't until recently that I've been looking at it in a whole new light. I used to look at Civ as an empire building sim and tried to keep things realistic, but as I've been introduced to more strategy board games my perception of what Civ is has changed. I now see the incredible depth of strategy that is within the game and am continuely blown away all the different strategies there are and all the things that I'm doing wrong in my own game lol.
I'm new to alot of the lete speak I see in the forums but I am eager to learn as much as I can so I can get better at this truly amazing game. So I will apologize in advance for all the questions that I will have in other threads.
I have received the 'Civilization IV: Colonization' for Christmas. I have never been a gamer. I have no idea where to begin. I have no experience with Civ3 (or any other game). Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you.
I've been visiting this site for as long as I can remember---perhaps when I purchased Civ III. I thought it was about time to simply say Greetings . Please have a Happy New Year.
i just purchased Civ V for my intel Mac. My biggest disappointment was no Map editing capability, unless I have overlooked something.
Hi. Just joined. Massive fan of Civilization. Only started liking it Feb 09 with IV but I now have every game and every expansion pack for them so yeah. :3
