Hey there all!

I'm Fe, and I have been playing Civ for far too many years now. Not much of a gamer otherwise. I just have these dreams of world dominaiton, and until they let me loose on the real world, I shall have to content myself with this. ;)

Hey there. Long-term civ player, I bought it for my amiga when I was a kid and haven't stopped playing it since. Thought it was about time I got involved with it outside of my own computers :p.

Gonna try my luck at the GoTM this time, since it's on a difficulty I can deal with, but don't expect any high scores

Greetings, fellow conquerers, nation-builders, and space-yearning leaders! I caught the Civ1 bug from my son, Owen, and have graduated from there to each new release with joy and anticipation (and expense, since I always had to upgrade my computers to accommodate Civ's awesome graphics developments). Looking forward to learning and exchanging tips from this great resource.

Greetings. I have been playing Civ since the day Civ 1 DOS took up 1/4 of my hard drive. I'm looking forvard to putting up with your rants, and I hope you in turn will put up with mine :D

Hello, I thought I would introduce myself. I am 39 yrs old, I have no kids and I love to waste hours of time playing this game. I am not very good at it, but love to come here to find ways of improving. I am from Jamaica (small island in the west indies).

Hey people! I don't play civ4, noticing that I'm in the civ4 area,, but whatever.I play civ3. I'm gana be hanging around here a while, so, see ya around!:)

I think I've been a member for sometime albeit a lurker. Seen the snipput on the top of the page and figured, why the heck not do an intro post. . .

As my profile will suggestion I am a pure Civ-fanatic from back into Civ II day. I'm loving the heck out of Civ IV; running serval games. Unfortunately my career doesn't lead me to alot of time to dedicatie to my passions; either way I'd imagine when I do have time I'll contribute o some degree. This site has been amazing htuss far

Civ_I changed my life and my tertiary studies routine back in 90's.
Civ_II did barely entertained me until Civ_3.
Civ_III had alot of problems with 'unrest' but some clever game play devices.
Civ_IV has thankfully re-iterated why 'Humankind' needs computers, it has recaptured the essence of 'Civilization' and as such has me playing one game non-stop from nomads to Cultured Peoplings. Well done to the development team, after a decade you are again challenging this Immortal Warrior.

Question: How do I 'abandon city' and or sell buildings?

Once upon a time, I could build settlers and move to greener pastures to remove a city. Then, I had an abandon city button, now I can't find any known way of dealing with global warming or closing off that 'Ithmus' I uncovered in my travels.

Hey everybody,

Just wanted to make my first post. Although I've been a member for awhile,I've yet to post on any forum.

I love Civ III but have yet to play IV. I figure I will as soon as I exhaust the possibilities of III...this will probably take awhile.

I've been around for a while getting tips and software updates. I love this resource! I first got into Civ 2 back when my brother-in-law and I started playing long distance. I just found out Civ 3 had been ported for the Mac. I am once again hooked. Then I found a demo of Civ 4 for the PC last month in a magazine and now find myself drooling for the Mac-port-to-come!

Hey. names Vanamee. I have been using this forum forever now, and love it. I just recently decided to sign up. Civ 3 is my favorite game ever!!!! Been modding for some time, but don't have the expertise to create custom graphics. Anyway, nice to be here!:crazyeye:
