Got into Civ back with CivII have Civ3 AND 4. Love em both, have a problem though. I got a Windows 7 laptop and it won't load my 2000/XP version of Civ3. Are there any patches out here that can make it work?

Hello there! I've been a lurker of the site for too long, particularly with Sisiutil's and MadScientist games wich helped widening my view of civ...i've been playin since civ 1, but IV really reached new heights for me, compelling me to tackle harder settings till emperor level and OCC, which i never experienced in previous versions.
I am now loving and exploring civ 5, understanding it's immense potential, not just for the present but for the future also.
Just wanted to say hello to all civfanatics as a long time lurker.

Now back to my persians glorious golden ages

i've bn a fan since civ 3 but didn't really like civ 4. i hope i like civ 5.

i generally prefer RTS to turn-based, but strategy is strategy.

I finally got round to registering here

I have been a fan of Civ since the very first one way back when and am now just waiting for my copy of the 5th edition to be delivered (bad planning to book a holiday the week of it's release in the UK haha).

I have used this site for years for its great support and modding network, but thought it only right that I actually say hello to all you lovely people.

After all these years, i finally got myself a Civ V several days ago and i love it.
