Have fun posting in this new forum!

I am going to move the NES threads here... I hope there are not many NES threads. :)

Edit: Looks like I've moved all NES threads here. Let me know if there are still some NES threads in the main story forum and I will move them here.

Another question is "Is a separate forum for NES games necessary?" If not, I can move these threads back to the main story forum. :)

I was thinking that the Stories & Tales forum did need a bit more structure. Cause these NES's and the Succession games are all often visited and they need to be able to stay near the top in posts but as it was (in the before time) if a post wasen't made every three hours the topic would dive to the second page. people would forget about what things they were in then dropouts and confusion would rule the threads. :mwaha: :splat:

Hip-hip hurray!

Thunderfall I think you should put a link to this NES forum from Civ2 Storys & tales. I mean why should they miss out on this fun just because they don't have Civ3? (ok I may have just anwsered my own question there ;))
but what do ya think?

I agree! the more the merrier. TF- I do not think that each game needs its own forum.

Hey! We're official!
I... I feel like I've been... part of something beautiful...

I also agree for cIV

5 year bump, though Abaddon's statement has merit.
And goes directly back to the "We Should Move" argument which has been more or less indefinitely tabled as all the reasons for anything but the status quo (and many of those too) were total crap. This isn't really anything but a little Trojan pony.

That said, I wouldn't particularly mind, though I really do doubt it would do anything at all, and would rather save asking favors for Thunderfall for some other time. You've got karma; don't spend it all in one place.

So should we reopen debate again? It has been a while, and opinions may have changed. The Civ4 Stories and Tales community is getting more developed, though Civ3 S&T is certainly not dead.

I don't know why you're asking me (if you are) since everybody knows I "always" have an agenda. But I don't see why we should unless somebody genuinely has prepared some convincing arguments either way (and by convincing I mean I want to see some charts and graphs), because the past three or some times its devolved into people barking.

And despite whatever it was at the time they were barking, they continued to bark at one another all the same each time. I don't see why a fourth time would be different regardless of who did or thought what unless somebody was actually willing to develop half-assed arguments on their position. Which for this place is like getting wine out of a rock.

Well, rationalism tends to trump empiricism on forum debates.
And most rationalist forum debates can empirically be proven to be stupid. I call victory for empiricism.

I say we should move the NES forum to California so we can get free cheese from Happy Cows™. The benefits are clearly superior to Other Games! How could you possibly disagree? This is totally rational!

I've long been an advocate of moving to Other Games, from the standpoint of pure nomenclature.
I remember crushing that little argument with rationality a long time ago. :) I refer you back to my remark in Post #11 on virtually all previous extremist stances being total crap. You can take that as an insult if it makes you angry.

Shame, me!?! Kal, you should know better.

Apparently so.. it is fun reading yee oldee NES threads for who used to be involved but is still at the site.
