I cant open the downloaded file, it asking me to open it whith firefox but then firefox asking what i shall do with the file and so on, anyone?

EDIT:
Discovered that its 7z and it dont work... other version than 7z?

I am a C programmer. I dont know XML or anything, but I do know C.

Just change the file extension from .txt to .ppt and open it with a power-point viewer or power-point. By the way, I made the attached power-point with Microsoft Office XP, just in case the power-point viewers aren't backwards compatible.

Can't download from your linked site. When I click on download now it opens a pop-up window that tells me I am in que for five minutes and that it will refresh in 1 minute. When it refreshes I don't see any links because the pop-up window is so small and after waiting 30 minutes I gave up. What gives? I would love to try your mod.

I'll take a look at it to see what the problem might be. Do you have a popup blocker?
 
I do have pop-up blocker but I allowed pop-up temporarily from this site. The problem is that the pop-up window doesn't have a maximize botton. You could even email me the file as an attachment if that would be possible. I can PM you my email address.
 
looks perfect. i just need to wait more 5 hours to download it. :)

I've downloaded the Warlords-version, but certain units appear as blobs. (By the way, this forum is rather hard to find...)
 
So, did you overwrite the XML folder of the CIV Gold Warlords folder with the patch? Can you show me the path of your install?

C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Warlords\Mods\CIV Gold3
