Now it makes sense that I have received almost no e-mails this weekend, and not even a single spam... Could you PM me that response? I'd send that to my admin.

If it is too dark, too big, too small, dont like the two houses, whatever.... just say so and I can correct it. And I am gong to be working on it some more because I have to do the city walls for it anyways, so don't hesitate to critisize... :)

Ok, you probably know it looks like I wanted :D though of course I have comments after in-game test.
1. Two houses are nice, can you add more of them, not too far from fortress? (ie. same models at different angles).
2. That slope entance looks cool, except when a city is on thin coastal land (see attached screenshot). I don't have much idea what to do about that (after all it affects all civ3 cities...). Maybe shorten the slopes a little and put flags a little closer to the fortress, so they won't stand out of the water.
3. Flags are a nice idea :), maybe give them color (ie. parchment yellow?)

Thanks :D

EDIT: the walls are too big I think... ; don't worry about the brightness/contrast though, I will adjust it after comparing it to that terrain, I did it to all cities.

Here's what I've been working on. I'm not happy at all - Wood Elven Queen was to look noble and scary, with butterfly wings and gigantic hair... well, she looks like a bad actress in bad movie. Vlad looks slighly better, but still, something is not right about him.
Also, I'm sorry, I gave up the green orc. I got no model that fits. Either he looked like bully ogre or skinny goblin. Maybe GenghisFarb will do such leaderhead, I saw his orc model in the other thread, it was perfect I'd say.

Yes, somewhere near the bottom ;)

I think the wood elf looks cool. Although she looks more like the a warrior queen than a high noble. Vlad...well he looks stoned to me. Like a sleepy vampire. Otherwise he looks good to me too.

BTW:Where is GenghisFarb's thread?

That wood-elf queen looks pretty. :) I like it.

The Vlad has propably a bit too blue skin I think. And the skin seems too smooth, or what do you think. Otherwise it looks fantastic

What about making them both paler? (Then Vlad can say "I'm Vlad, I'm paler." :mischief: ) The queen looks like a Australian actor, I don't think you'd get that tan in "The Enchanted Forest".

I like the queen.. altough she looks a little "tired"..

The reason my heads seem to be too tanned is that I use moody, colored lights. I had to make the whole scene brighter to lighten their faces.
Fixed other issues with vampire too, brows, eyes, mouth (hopefully he doesn't look so much stoned now).

tjedge1: here is the thread with GhengisFarb orc... (at the bottom):

I'd really like to see a leaderhead with this one.

Vampire: Great. He was cool as a dope head but he is better now.. :) But I think the glad version should be.. well.. gladder :D

Ok, Vlad is rendered. Here is re-done elf queen, I think it's better now.

Much better. My wife gives you a  as well. Thats 2  from this critic.

I like the first better. It looks more elvish and mystical..

Damn you, the first one was horrible ;)
and I already killed her :mwaha:

The mystical mood is mostly lights issue... here is she with more enchanted forest-like ambience.

If she's ugly, at least she should have bigger boobies.

I liked the second queen the most. :) Boobies or not.
Kindred: she's not supposed to be a babe, she's supposed to be a thousand year old bloody elf, with mental disorders. :D
