Stumbled upon this while listening to the Fallout 3 radio.

Who knew total thermonuclear Armageddon was so catchy?

Given that Napoleon was forced to go to Waterloo, since otherwise the two armies (British and Prussian) would join up and march to Paris, and those two armies were 230K men or something, to Napoleon's 130K something men, would really France/Napoleon have won much even if the result in Waterloo was defeat for Britain (and in the best case also defeat of the Prussian arriving army later on) ?

Cause from that documentary it seems like it would likely just take a few more expeditions even if Napoleon won in Waterloo. Or is this not so?

(and iirc 130 or 150K men are smaller than the army Napoleon commanded in his golden era of dominance, just prior to the Russian war).

Seems like fairly obvious case of racial profiling or whatever you want to call it, but that woman is a dumbarse, she wasn't cooperating in any sort of way. Idiots all around..
Yeah, Because standing up for your rights isn't "cooperating", and it is such an "idiotic" thing to do.

You shouldn't have to "resist" a clearly false arrest at all. Should you?

I hope she wins her eventual lawsuit. After all, there is plenty of video evidence now, thanks to millions of other similar incidents in the past where the cops walked and the city wasn't punished for their own criminal acts.

Cops need to finally learn that not immediately complying with their every whim is not a crime. It is a right. And when they violate the law like this, they will be arrested and booked with appropriate criminal charges.

The cops had no reason to handcuff her, she hadn't commited any crime which they admitted, and she had no legal reason to provide her name.
