It's 2059 and the Eurozone is still intact. Even survived a series of terrorist attacks that brought the world to its knees. If that's not the definition of Euro-optimism, then I don't know what is.
So, let me get this straight: there's no middle ground between the utter depravity of the Weimar republic and the utter depravity of Hitler's Germany? That doesn't seem much of a choice to me.
