Useful Idiots with Katie Halper and Matt Tiabbi
about an hour into the podcast they interview John Kiriaku, the only person who went to prison for the US torture program following 9-11. No, he wasn't convicted of torture, he confirmed the existence of the program. He's a whistleblower. Anyway, he said the case against him was closed but when Obama got elected Eric Holder was asked by John Brennan why Kiriaku wasn't being charged and prosecuted. Holder told him they didn't have enough for a case. Brennan told Holder to charge him anyway, make him defend himself.
They offered Kiriaku a 45 year plea deal which he rejected. They kept dropping the sentence and finally offered him 30 months or 23 served, at that point Kiriaku took the deal. This is how our government operates. John Brennan should be in prison along with Holder.
