What do you use to shower?

This is a serious thread because I've always been unsure of what to use for showers. I use a towel and soap to wash myself but I'm not sure if it's doing the trick. I feel like I could be cleaner if I used something a little rougher. Should I be using a scrub of some kind? What do you guys recommend? Please post and names/pictures if possible.

I take a bath occasionally to complement my showers but I get lazy once I get in the tub and it becomes a very time consuming process

I use a body wash and my hand.

I mostly use water(I think sand doesn't have the fluid qualities of water) , something soapy and preferably a towel afterwards.

And bar soap, liquid soap, Dr. Bronner's soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, face soap, baby oil, and sometimes salt scrubs.

Irish spring with aloe and a wash cloth.

Wow I gotta try some of that baby oil and salt scrubs you mentioned. Never even thought of using those.

washcloth, ivory, shampoo, razor, tooth pre-rinse, toothbrush and toothpaste, mouthwash.

I've never used any kind of clothing inside the bathtub other than a towel to dry off when done and my watch when I occasionally forget it on.

If I want to be extra clean I'd take a bath rather than shower. After some minutes in the tub, let water flow off so that the skin are moist but not wet. Then rub the skin with you hands so that grey dirt 'rolls' up.

What are those?

I used to use one of those puffy things + liquid bodywash. I've decided I prefer bar soap.

+ shampoo + conditioner

I use Dove soap. I also use a face scrub and a moisturizer, and the moisturizer works best if you scrubbed the dead skin off first. This is because I have dry skin, and if I don't take care of it it turns out ugly, with peeling skin and rashes :p

I use my bare hands cos I find using artifacts dirty - all the grime stays on it, or so it seems.

Whatever my flatmates have bought :mischief:

Generally just wash my body with shampoo/shower gel

began moisturising afterwards recently as my skin got awefully dry an itchy.. not its not to bad an i smell of coconuts! :D

The sponge, long used by humans for washing purposes. By soaking the sponge in water and then applying "shower gel", and rubbing or otherwise aggravating the form of the sponge in a manner such as to deviate the sponge from it's conventional shape, a lather may be formed which can be employed by the discerning gentleman to the task of cleaning oneself.

So is the luffa-loofah and poof! better than a regular sponge?

And is the sponge better than just using the hands to apply the soap?
